Wet, Wild & Wicked: Mitch & Jennifer, June 2021
So this was our first trip! Total newbies! I will try to recollect what I can from our trip during the week of 6/7 to 6/12.
We took the free transportation (can’t remember the name of the service) but it was included thru Denny and it wasn’t bad. I remember Denny saying that taking the bus could be fun because of other people riding in the same bus. Not too many people on so we only had like 4 or 5 stops before us so it was a good opportunity to take a much needed nap before we arrived to Hedo. It was raining when we arrived and we were the only ones in the lobby so check in was relatively quick and effortless. Chris helped us with our luggage and he was super nice. We splurged and went with the nude beachfront room with jacuzzi and can I say…best decision ever!!! We would get in it first thing in the morning to relax a bit and also during the rain storm that came every day (which was a great way to make friends by inviting them over!)
We missed the little meet & greet because we arrived on Monday but we did join the zoom calls every week that led up to the trip which allowed us to meet a handful of people beforehand.
We came prepared with a costume for every night and glad we did! I can’t say that we will go all out for future trips but who knows…we had fun! Loved the entertainment! I agree…the routine they did on fetish night was pretty great! The real muscular dancer humored me and dirty danced with me (Jennifer) so I was happy! haha
The food was really good overall. I will say that I, personally, enjoyed going to the restaurants for dinner than the main buffet but we were pleased with everything. I think I enjoyed Flame the most just because of the steak, atmosphere and friends we made!
We were told that the resort was around half full which might’ve been a blessing in disguise for us. It helped me feel comfortable getting naked the moment we walked onto the beach! And we definitely enjoyed the nude pool more than anything so much so that we visited a local nude campground a couple weekends later! I think we checked everything out within the resort. Loved the piano bar. I even sang some karaoke. Went into both playrooms at least once. Ate at every restaurant. Took the obligatory picture on the Hedo wall and met tons of wonderful people! (since leaving Hedo we have connected with some of the people we met!!)
We never left the resort to do any excursions and we were a-ok with that. This trip was our honeymoon and we wanted to just enjoy each other.
We did do a beach couples massage which was amazing! I definitely recommend it!
One bad costly experience.
We paid the man on site for a $60 wooden plaque, which he said he would mount someplace by nude bar or pool area. Wrote out for him to carve:
"Mitch & Jennifer
New Orleans
2021"
Went back and checked on progress and had to point out that he spelled "New Orleans" wrong, he carved "New Orleens". He said easy fix, but he would not have it finished before we left. Disappointing, but we were good sports about it. He took our email address and said he would send us picture of it mounted. We never did receive anything. Then a friend of ours went to Hedo 2 weeks after us. He looked and could not find our plaque, and had no luck talking to man that makes the plaques.
We didn’t wear masks at all and our covid test to leave was pretty easy. Only thing is we discovered that the company performing the test entered my birthday for Mitch on his test results and the concierge was able to contact them the morning we were leaving and get it corrected.
The trip home was definitely long and we had a flight snafu in Houston but made it home to New Orleans after midnight that Saturday.
Hedo…we will be back! Soon!
