Brian & April - June, 2007 Wet, Wild & Wicked

We started off on Friday the 8th and drove 1 hr to my parents house to drop off the kids and sleep there to get up and fly out early on the 9th. We got our notification from Orbitz that our flight was on time 3 hrs before we where to fly and we where set. We had my Dad drop us off at the airport and checked in. The first flight to Pheonix from Fresno was canceled becuase the plane never arrived from Las Vegas. About 15 min before we where to take off they postponed our flight from 9:27 am to 11:00 am. Not to big of a deal except now we where going to miss our connecting flight in Pheonix. When we got to the ticket counter (2.5 hrs latter) we where told that all flights out of fresno where canceled and that we wouldnt be able to fly out of anywhere within driving distance until Tuesday. We found a flight from another passanger that was flying out the next day (sunday the 10th) and asked the guy at the counter about that flight out of Los Angeles. He promtly told us "Oh yes that flight is vailable". We got booked for that flight and rented a car and drove the 4+ hrs to L.A. after going back and forth between this airline (US Airways) and American Airlines. When we got to L.A. we checked in and where put on a fligh to Pheonix that night and a flight to Cabo in the morning. Well guess what happened in L.A. IT GOT CANCELED AS WELL!!!!!!!

They finaly moved us to American Airlines for the next morning and gave us a room and meal vouchers. This whole time US Airways is telling us that they wherent going to do anything for us for our canceled flights the rental car or the lost night at the resort. We finaly got to Cabo the next day on the 10th and checked into the resort after running the Guantlet of time share hounds. When we checked in the front desk claimed that they had not heard from Orbitz about our flight problems and would have to wait and check to see if they could adjust our dates so we would not loose a night. We checked back a few times over the next few days. The first time we got a guy that was a total asshole. The second time we got a girl that was very nice and freindly and finay got our nights changed so we would not loose a night.

Now on the the good stuff. When we got to the resort they had a glass of champeane waiting for each of us and cold wash cloths for us to whipe our faces and arms down with. Check in was smoothe other than the night changes. We avoided the time share people by telling them that our freinds where waiting for us by the pool (the time share guy knew who we where talking about) and that we knew it was a time share pitch and that we just wanted to start our vacation after spending over 24hrs to get there. The bell hop showed us our room which he said would be ready in about 30 minutes (only took 15) and then showed us to the pool where we met with our friends. Jim had a shot waiting for April of Tequila and I had a fresh Coke (i dont normaly drink much). After these drinks and a few hello's we went back to our rooms to get changed and then to the pool to get naked.

The food was great we ate at the Italian restruant most nights but did try the Suki and the International buffet. Breakfast is in the main dinning room where they serve the buffet at night at. Lunch was servered near the Pool at the Italian Restruant. The pool got warmer as the day went on and finaly they filled the pool up with more cold water and it was better the rest of the week. The Bar by the pool normaly closed down around 5pm each night but the bar at the hot tub was open by then as well as the Melange bar in the middle of the resort where most people met for drinks before dinner and then again after getting ready for the disco before going up. The participation at the Disco for theme nights was low which was unfortunate but it was still fun. Paco the DJ will do his best to get songs for you if he does not have them. He downloaded Chris Ledoux "Look at you Girl" and Garth's "The Dance" and played both for me the following night after i requested them and continued to play them for me when he saw me with April. (I had sang the song "Look at you Girl" to April just before i had proposed to her so it was a special song for us). The bar tender in the Disco was AWSOME as well. On Thursday night I taught him how to make Astro Pop's and got the event staff hammered. After a few of the Astro Pop's the staff decided it was time for them to start picking the drinks and I'm not even sure what the shots where but they werent to bad. Then the bar tender decide i needed some sort of over 100 proof shot of Tequila. We where all hammered by the end of the night and some of the staff had massive hangovers.

Before we went I had also sent an e-mail to Silvania about Denny P's trouble in getting a dates for the trip and they agreed and made a 1 time special deal to let Denny come solo so we where all very happy about that.

The flight home was uneventfull although sad becuase we realy didnt want to go home even though most of our freinds had already left over the last few days we where there.

Now for the ladies. For breakfast I learned that the clothes you wear must not be to revieling they have no problem asking you to cover up.
Also wear shoes or they wont let you get your food. Lunch you must also get dressed, but it can be alot less. Dinner wear well its not what I thought it would be. I am not sure if it was because of the people that was there or because of the resort being so new. Most ladies wore skirts, shorts, or dresses nothing to sexy. I went alot more sexy. Yes most woman had panties on too. Wear whats going to make you feel sexy. The disco was ok. Most wore the same outfits from dinner to the disco. I didnt do that i took it up a notch on the sexyness. As far as the staff Silva is hot. If you want to see her ass get her cosmopolitans and keep them comming to her. It is very nice and well worth it. My take on the whole trip is go have fun, be yourself and what ever your looking for you can find.
