Jim & Tricia - December 2003 Wet, Wild, and Wicked

Jim & Tricia's  WWW trip report
        Dec. 6th to Dec 13th

This was our fifth trip to Hedo, and our first with the WWW. We usually go the first week of January.

Our trip started off a lot like Kevin & Trish's from CT did. We stayed at a park & fly in Boston Friday night, and also kept an eye on the storm that was coming in the morning. We had a 7:20 flight out. That morning in the lobby we met George and Gail, who also stayed at the same hotel, and were on the same flight.

The four of us headed to the airport about 5:30 with light snow falling. We had some breakfast and some laughs wile waiting for our flight. OH NO, Delayed!!. Now we are worried. The snow is getting stronger, and there is a second front coming soon.

Around 8:00-8:30 they let us board the plane. They started to de-ice the plane, so we think we are good to go, but before they are done they pull away. NOW WHAT?
That's when the captain came on and tells us that the airport has just closed. We thought we where stuck. The storm was going to go on for two days. What should we do? We could not even see out our windows. We thought all hope was gone, but then without warning they came back to de-ice us again. They cleared a path in the snow, and off we went. YYYEEEEEAAAA!!! we made it. We took off about 10:30.

We had a great group for our bus ride to Negril. We had the pleasurable company of Trish & Kevin (you have to read their trip report to find out what happened to us on the bus) George & Gail, Craig & Gloria, Rob & Angie, Danimal and I am sorry but I know I forgot a couple of names. ( Hedo can do that to you)

Sometime around 6 PM is when we arrived at the front desk. I went to get a few drinks, while Trish got us our room. They gave us room# 2276 ocean front second floor, and so close to the pool and hot tub. The location was perfect. What a great room. It was one of the newly renovated rooms. Just a few doors down from Kevin & Trish. It still had some paint fumes, and the draws kinda stuck, but who cares. The new shower was fantastic once we had hot water, so we only had cold water the first couple of days, again who cares.

We dropped our luggage and headed for the hot tub only to find out it was broken. Oh well I hope they get it fixed soon. We decided to go back to the room unpack and decorate our door. We always bring a ton of stuff with us to hedo, beach balls, glow sticks, umbrella hats, rafts, beads, toys. You name it we probably brought it.

I can't go into a day by day report because my little hedo fun induced brain does not work that way, but I do remember something that happened on Sunday. It was just as we where leaving Denny's Cocktail reception (Thanks Denny! ). Trish of Trish & Kevin told us she had never been down the water slide, so we all stripped down and went for a screaming ride. We did some daytime nude rides too. We really love the waterslide. It is a great addition to the fun at Hedo.

We met some really great couples from Main, not to far from where we live. Ken & Sue, Ray & Ann and Kevin & Wendy. We hope to have a little northern Hedo reunion sometime. We where happy to that some friends from England (we can't say their names) changed their mind and made the trip. We were also very glad that some close friends from RI, Frank and Christine where able to make the trip last minute. We usually go to Hedo in January with them.

This year we really paced ourselves just right. We stayed out late, got up early and had fun all the time. We find breakfast to be the most important meal we have at Hedo. We eat a lot of Charlie's omelets. We hardly ever eat lunch, but when we did it was up at the main dinning room. Dinner was missed a few times too. Thankfully they have the midnight snack until 2:30. We thought that it was a little better than usual.

The entertainment was great this trip too. They were making a movie "Hangin at Hedo" while we where there. This added to a lot of the comedy. Fat Elvis especially.
One night Trish and I where walking from the dinning room over the bridge that overlooks the waterslide and the disco. We saw fat Elvis come flying down the slide, and loose his bathing suit. He hit the pool at the bottom so hard that he almost sent Mini Me (or is it his Brother) into the glass wall of the disco. We ran into Jake a few minutes later, and tried to tell him this story. We where laughing so hard Jake must have thought we had just found some good ganja.
Another funny night was when Rob put on Christines red panty's, and joined the dance contest against fat Elvis. We lost our voices screaming for Rob to win. He tied. Not bad considering this was his and Angies first trip out of Iowa.

This trip was our best trip yet. Ken and Sue you guy's really made our trip special, can't wait to see you again. Ray and Ann , " ya ya ya "We had a blast with you two. Kevin & Wendy, you guy's are a lot of fun. We have to make plans for us all to get together. Frank & Christine glad you made it, love you ! , hope to see you this summer. To our English friends. We hope to see you on the next trip. Forrest and Karen, it was nice to see you two again. Manny and AnnMarie, we hope to run into you on Vacation again sometime. That goes the same for Craig and Gloria.
Denny it was really great meeting you, and the winter WWW crew. We had a blast.
Thanks for all the hard work on this site. You helped us find a home at Hedo. See you at Desire in Feb.
Even the bus ride out was fun. They put us on a big bus with video reggae. Our send off from moon hill was great. We all sang Kevins song " Were more horny on the nude side". In fact some of us continued the party at Margaritaville, and sang that song there too. All in all a great trip from start to finish.

If there is anyone that has PICS of us or the Umbrella hats in the hot tub. Please send copies. We took a disposable camera with us, but never even unwrapped it.

Although we had a great week there was one incident that did make us uncomfortable one night. On the way to the hot tub a security guard asked Trish and I if we would like to go back to the room. A little later when Trish left the hot tub to use the bathroom in our room. He asked her again. He even asked again when she came back.
Having one of the guests ask to go back to your room is one thing, and if someone does not take no for an answer you can always call security, but what do you do when the problem is security.
