Winter 2003 WWW Trip

Ive, DJ, always said that I would write a trip report and after our third trip with the Winter WWW Group I finally am!!! Im trying to get out of a funk that Ive been in since we returned home from this trip. I am suffering so badly from the DIF that I have only been on DennyPs board twice and havent answered most of my emails.
Forgive me if I bore anyone. I, unlike some of my fellow Winter WWW friends, am NOT a literary genius. Please bear with me as I write a trip report in MY words and not Bruces.
Our flight in was uneventful. Just about 15 minutes late, not bad. TimAir flight to Negril was fast, as was check-in, and we were at the nude pool by 12:30. We made great time in my eyes.
We spent the week with all our old friends and met quite a few new ones. We have been to Hedo II and III without being in a group on several occasions and always had a great time, but being with Dennys WWW Group has always been better than GREAT!!! My advice to anyone thinking about going to Hedo II or III is to go with a group. Preferably DennyPs WWW Group.
This was a typical trip. Too much partying, too much food, not enough sleep. The resort looks wonderful with all the improvements. Its just too bad that most of the improvements are on the prude side. Hardly ever used by anyone. The plunge pools are too cold, as is the prude pool, because of them being in the shade. What a waste for the resort to have built them where they did! The water slide, of course, is always a blast. Note to anyone who reads this: YOU WILL HAVE THE SLIDE OF YOUR LIFE IF YOU GO DOWN NAKED!!! Thats the only way we slide on the slide.
The food was adequate. The fries are what I enjoy most. I look so forward to clogging my arteries every year with Roberts fries! And this year I wasnt able to have them daily because they were either out of fries or oil on the nude side!!! The nude side is where the majority of all the guests are and they just dont seem to care!!! The prude side never ran out of fries. The nude side also ran out of bacon on a few occasions throughout the week. No lobster tails were served in the main dining room on PJ night. That totally sucked! Breakfast, as usual, was the best of the meals they offer in the main dining room. We had the pleasure of dining at Manahanu (sp) twice with GREAT company and at Pastifari once, also with Great company. In fact everyone we dined with WAS GREAT company!!!

STRINGING BEAD NAME NECKLACES ON THE BEACH WITH TWO OF OUR NEW FRIENDS
HANGING IN THE POOL KEEPING COOL

The lowlights of our trip were:
FELLING LIKE WERE ARE SECOND CLASS CITIZENS ON THE NUDE SIDE (AS USUAL)
HAVING NO FRIES ON THE NUDE SIDE FOR A FEW DAYS
HAVING A NON FUNCTIONING/COLD HOT TUB MOST OF THE WEEK
HAVING NO HAND TOWELS, WASH CLOTHES, BATH TOWELS FOR A COUPLE DAYS (not missing on the same days, thank goodness)
HAVING NO BARTENDER THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT AT THE NUDE POOL BAR
RUNNING OUT OF PREMIUM BRANDS AT THE NUDE POOL BAR
RUNNING OUT OF BANANAS AT THE NUDE POOL BAR
LOUD MUSIC IN DINING ROOM FOR LUNCH AND DINNER TO THE POINT YOU CANT ENJOY THE COMPANY OF OTHERS AT YOUR TABLE
LOUD/WRONG MUSIC IN THE DISCO
To sum this up, we had a great time because of the people that go to Hedo!!! We were disappointed with the fact that nothing has changed for the better on the nude side in regards to how the nudes are treated as second class citizens!!! We dont even bother to complain anymore because absolutely NOTHING is done to improve the situation! I even filled out a questionnaire (thanks Denny for providing them to us) a few days after we returned and I have yet to hear back form anyone answering my complaints. This is just further proof that they dont care about the guests from the nude side. They feel, no matter what treatment they give us, we will be back. And yes, we are guilty of coming back, year after year. We come back to see all our friends in one place! That is the best part of Hedo! You know your friends will be back year after year, also!
In all honesty, we will only be going back for the next Winter WWW trip because two of our friends are being married then. We probably wont return there again until we are assured by management that things have changed for the better on the nude side!
