Bill & Patty - December, 2003 Wet, Wild, and Wicked

December 6-13

This is our first ever trip report.  Writers we are not so here goes

This was our second trip to Hedo II with the WWW group.  Our first trip was with the Summer WWW in July of 02.  We were scheduled to go again with the summer WWW this year but Bill had to have quadruple Bypass surgery on July 2.  So, as luck would have it, Bill was healthy enough to go with the winter WWW.

Well where do we begin.  On Friday NYC had its first snow storm of the season.  About 6 had fallen by nightfall, with a second storm that was expected to dump another foot or so on Saturday.  Started to wonder if we were going to be able to leave on time.  We had an 8am flight.  Our car service picked us up at 5AM and we were at the AJ counter by 5:40.  Flight left the gate at about 8:15, after being deiced we were off the ground by 9:10.  What a relief.

We touched down in Mo Bay about 12:30.  All went well as we lift the airport and had a speedy uneventful bus ride to Hedo.  Our room wasnt ready yet, but our appetites were. Off to the dinning room for lunch.  We met Carolyn and Mike at one of the tables and our vacation took off from there.  DennyP site does offer a tremendous service by allowing us to post our picture.  Thats how we recognized Carolyn & Mike.  You feel as though you know these people before you have actually have met.  They make you feel comfortable.

Sunday was a restful day.  The water was a little wavy, so just settled for a couple of lounge chairs, Roberts lunch and Delroys great drinks and of course meeting our new friends as well as some old friends.

Sunday night was the WWW welcome party and childrens gift giving.  We like that.  A fun way of giving something back to the children less fortunate than our own.  Our parish has a giving tree and its a nice feeling to do something for others.

Monday we went on the Magic Mystery tour organized by Steve & Nancy. That was fun and the sunset was breathtaking.  The evening theme was Patriotic Night.

Tuesday was the catamaran trip.  That is always enjoyable.  The friends, music, stops along the way.    Fun Fun Fun. And thank you to whoever was responsible for bringing the jello shots.  Tuesday night was PJ night.  How ingenious some people can be.  We took second place in the couple category.  What a wonderful surprise.

The daily beach activities were good.  Volleyball was a sight to see and very well played.  Bill enjoyed his trek down the waterslide.  He has a knack for having a slippery tush so it goes a long way, almost meeting the glass of the disco.  Comes close every time.

The erotic gift exchange was a lot of dildos, dildos and dildos.  It was nice that Duck ended up with a Duck.  The emcees were great and entertaining.  Thank you Hazel & Diane.   After the gift exchange some of the ladies got together to stuff the stockings for the school children.  Diane it was a great idea.

The food we thought was better than our first trip, but nothing to write home about.

The nightly entertainment was better than I thought it was going to be.  We didnt want to miss a night.

The talent show was very good.  We didnt know how much talent was out there.  Bravo, Bravo, Bravo keep up the great work.

We had so much fun that we cannot wait to get back again to enjoy the Jamaica sun and sand and pool and hot tub and waterslide and .all our friends.

Thank you Denny for giving us an opportunity to meet and have lots of fun with all of the wonderful WWWs.

Our trip home wasnt too bad.  It started out with us being nude on the beach.  It was so hard to say good-bye to our new and old friends.  As per our first trip home, when we arrived at the airport our flight was delayed.  No plane this time.  The wait was made pleasant because of the great company we had. (John&Reene, Patty&Rupe, Hazel&Jamie and a whole lot more).  We stopped at Margaritaville to have something to nosh on.  When our plane finally arrived and we were homeward bound it wasnt very much fun.  The first thing out of the pilots mouth was how cold and windy it was back home.  We went from a warm and beautiful vacation climate to cold winter weather.  And it snowed the next day.  The difference between day and night.  Cant wait till our next Hedo vacation for more sun and fun and waterslide.

Think warm and Delroys bar. Till we meet again.
