Okay,
to begin with words really cannot describe how much we enjoyed the WWW winter
trip. Our travel to and from was
completely uneventful and made better with our change of mind to take Timair
vs. the scenic bus ride. Our
decision was due to hearing of long road delays for construction and a
marathon or walk event being run/ran (no pun) that same day.
Timair is definitely the way to go!
It provides gorgeous views of the Jamaica coastline and seeing the
resort area (and the Zoo) from above (as you circle in to land) gets you
psyched for Dirty Bananas and nakedness!
During
our stop over in Atlanta for connection to MoBay, we had the good fortune of
meeting up with some terrific people and throughout the week, we spent a good
deal of time with them Chris & Elaine (hows the arm?), Greg &
Melanie and Paul & Angela. Sure hope to see you all next year!
When
we arrived at Hedo II, we received our room keys quicker than they could bring
us a drink thank you! Since
this was our first trip to this Superclub resort, we had no idea where our
room was located and just followed the baggage guy (past all the construction
and down the popular detour) to our room. Lo and behold, we were happy to
discover our room was right above the nude pool area. Talk about convenient!!!
Since we had previously vacationed at Hedo III and had no first timer
qualms about the nudity issues, we were out of that room in our au natural
beachwear and did not think twice about unpacking.
As
we approached Delroys for the first time, we spied our email friend Brian
(who was attempting to peek through the window of the Sybian room) and
introduced ourselves and realized he is just as charming and funny in person.
(His wife, Margaret, turns out to be equally enchanting and a REAL
person to boot!) J Within minutes, we found our other email/chat friends from
Dennys link Fred and Lori. I
feel like we could write a whole page on this couple - they are the salt of
the earth and the nicest, friendliest, most down to earth people you could
ever want to know. I suppose
while were naming names, Tex John and Nancy should get a very honorable
mention. Talk about some more genuinely friendly, enthusiastic, wonderful
people who also seemed to be everywhere, joining in on everything. Way to go
Nancy in the wet T-shirt contest you were looking good!
Honestly, in no time at all, we felt as if we were among lifetime
friends. (Proves what a wonderful host and hostess and party planners Denny
and Diane are!) THANK YOU!
Each
day we enjoyed trying out the activities (participated enough to pick up a few
bottles of rum) and then, in the evening, we thoroughly enjoyed the theme
nights and just had a blast! We did not take notes and havent the best
memory, especially for names, but heres our take on some of what we saw and
did during the week.
We
brought one of those conversation floats this trip and were really into the
beach and snorkeling most days. So, we probably didnt see some of the special
WWW moments and missed out on meeting more special
people, but for our virgin trip with the WWWers, we had a fantastic time.
Keeping in mind that we are not quite as wild and uninhibited as many
in the group, everyone we met was wonderful and accepting regardless of what
speed we could party (at)!
The
catamaran cruise (day) was simply picturesque. Thanks (Steve and Char more
wonderful folks) for bringing the jello shots (first time for us).
The water was divine and how fun was the cliff diving?
Another first for us! It
was a relaxing nude cruise with great atmosphere provided by the one and only
RR. Still cant believe Rasta Ralphie is in his 60s at no age could I
do the things he did!
Many
thanks go to the organizers of the MMT. It was great to actually stray from
the resort and we lucked out by riding on the adventerous bus; we left
clothed like everyone else and returned in standard Hedo II attire <grin
only>. We need to mention the hilarious nude trampoline experience at
Margaritaville. Even though we
were not participants, it was fun just seeing the people employed
there get all worked up over it and see the wide eyes of the
non-nudists at the beach that day! Just too funny!
PJ
night was a hit with us, although, if there was anything we could have done
without it would be the volume and/or quality of the music/speaker system
in the disco. I felt hoarse the
next day from talking so loud. The
gamut of lingerie/erotic wear that everyone wore was amazing but for
winning the hedobucks, leather works! Jerry and Edie were sure working it (and
Bob,too)! J Congratulations, although we felt Jim and
Cynthia could have shared that honor equally(wow!). (Note to self: remember
camera next year.)
Black and glow night was fun to just sit back and watch
and I have no doubt the WWWers were the envy of all the non-WWWers that
night (probably every night). After dinner the band was pretty decent which
made for an enjoyable evening of dancing (work off some of those dirty
bananas). Patriotic night was also a marvelous idea! From an American pov, it
really helped stave off the somber thoughts of what our country had been
through and reminded us of how amazingly Americans can pull together when
times get tough. It also doesnt
hurt mixing sexy with being patriotic!
Toga
night was spectacular how inventive, sexy and outrageous the TOGAS!
We thought the gold and silver truly brought out a very classy look to
the group and we cant wait to see more pictures from that night as we
forgot the camera. This was our
last night and we were already getting bummed at the thought of going back to
reality.
Altough
we hated to leave, the trip home went smoothly, short delay at MoBay, but ate
and drank at Margaritaville which was excellent. I wish we had written down
more names of people we met because we did have some great conversations with
wonderful folks. The staff at
Hedo II seemed alright to us. They
pretty much treated guests the way that guests treated them, you know, give
respect receive respect! Rather the way everything and everyone should be!
The food was more than adequate, geez, if it had been any better wed have
gained even more weight. Admittedly we will be glad to return when all the
improvements are finished and construction crews and temporary signs are a
thing of the past. J (We loved the slide at HedoIII and hear that
HedoIIs slide is faster and better.) Cant wait til next time!
Denny
you are the MAN! Thank you so
much for organizing and keeping everything flowing so smoothly.
Dont know how you make it to every event and know so many names, but
then you have the fabulous Diane to rely on. We
only wish we had the time and babysitters to get away on our own for every trip you plan!
