Liz's Trip report for WWW Summer 2000. Yes, I'm from Vermont.
This was my first Hedo visit, but definitely will NOT be the last! I have to start with a very warm and very heartfelt thank you to Denny & Diane for helping me make the decision to go to H2...and for being their bright & beautiful selves. You two are wonderful and I can't wait to see you again. Thanks so much for everything!
I was a bit anxious about baring it all, meeting people, traveling alone, etc. — but quickly realized that the people at Hedo are incredibly outgoing & welcoming & that it is what it is....relaxing, open & warm. After about 2 minutes I couldn't imagine putting my clothes back on. Jeff & Kim can attest to the fact that this was still difficult for me even after we left....as we shared a plane back to Atlanta. Thanks for all your ‘beach' tips too!
To any single women concerned about traveling solo to Hedo, I would like to say that it was a wonderful experience for me (I wonder how many times I can use the word wonderful in this report?). Mostly you are treated like a queen by everyone and you can have as mild or as wild of a trip as you want. It is all up to you. Being naked certainly evens out the playing field to some extent and makes for less pretense and posturing. You start at a different level then when you're clothed.
To those other potential first timers....I say, "Go for it!"....you will make new friends, learn about yourself and have so much fun it should be illegal (oops, it is!). I would give you a blow by blow account of my trip (sorry, I can't help myself)....but I'm a little foggy here & there. Let's see....beach, pool, beach, pool, bar, beach, bathroom, hot tub, bar, beach, pool....something like that. With lots of gabbing in between & many hugs & smiles.
To my new friends.....Toni and Kenny.....wish you were on here...I miss you! I won't soon forget that 5am phone call & the kind offer of your strap-on. Angi .... hey girl....your smile made my day often....see you soon? Mary Frances, you were a great roommate & your trapeze act was the talk of the resort...thanks for leaving me that nude ocean view room! Dennis & Mickie, big hugs to you both. Phil & Jude...what can I say...there is no one else I'd rather float around with. : ) And of course a special thanks to Joe for helping me abandon ship! Zipboomba! To everyone else who welcomed me and made me feel at home, many many thanks .... I've rarely laughed so hard before or smiled so much or felt such peaceful vibes....thank you!
Now I know what everyone was talking about....the people make Hedo what it is.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all again and making new friends too!
