We went on a cruise, back in February, and upon
returning home, we both decided that we needed another get away within a few
months. We heard of how nice
Jamaica is, so we started to plan a trip there.
Swept Away, in Negril, was our destination, and we were just about to
book it, when my hubby stumbled upon Dennys wonderful website.
I started to check out Dennys website, with caution, and about a
month later, we were both hooked. Now,
grant it, being online, reading the message boards, trip reports and joining
in the chat room, is one thing. The
actual experience of being a guest at Hedo, is another thing.
We enjoyed participating in Dennys site and also being a guest at
Hedo. There is no doubt that we
experienced the magic of Hedo! Matter
of fact, we are looking forward to many return trips with the WWW crew!
Ok, so we
decided against Swept Away and booked our Hedo trip for October 2000.
After meeting so many wonderful online buddies and emailing with some
of the WWW crew, who pledge their alliances to Hedo, we rebooked our trip to
go with the summer WWW gang. And,
boy oh boy, are we ever glad that we did!!!
What a wonderful group of people they are!
We had the time of our lives!
G was all
over the whole Hedo thing, from the get go.
And I was so hesitant. Why?
Well because Hedo is out of our comfort zone.
We both have never thought of going naked in public, less alone spend a
whole week of vacation doing so. I
have had four children, and am not exactly comfortable with my body.
My hubby could care less; he was so ready to jump on the next flight
out. G had me prepare for our
trip by drinking a few nights during the weeks and playing in the hot tub
nightly. Just so I could build up
a tolerance level for liquor and not embarrass either one of us with some lame
antic brought on by to much alcohol. We
also had the opportunity to rendezvous with Harold, in Las Vegas, a Hedo
veteran, who was also going to be there for WWW.
After our rendezvous with Harold, we were ready for WWW. Thanks again Harold, for taking the time to meet up with us
in Vegas.
The night we
hit LAX, for our red eye flight, was great.
Gs brother drove us to the airport and asked, for the final time,
Which resort are you staying at again?
We both smiled and said COUPLES.
With that, we ran into the terminal and looked around for Dave and
Cora, who were on our same flight. I
spotted them instantly and introduced myself.
They are a wonderful couple! Thanks
for making us feel so welcomed! Our
flight was long and we tried to sleep, but to no avail.
We couldnt wait to get to Hedo and meet the WWW gang.
We took Tim Air, because I get carsick easily, and it was a fun flight.
We arrived
early Saturday morning, around 9:30 a.m., and check in went very smooth.
We got our room keys, within minutes and off we went.
Ok, my heart starts pounding and I am nervous again about the whole
naked thing. Two hours later,
after eight drinks, unpacking and fun in our room, we were headed out to the
nude beach. On the way, we met
Denny and Diane. If it werent
for all of the time Denny puts into his wonderful site, we wouldnt have
made the Hedo connection. Thank
you, thank you, and thank you for all that you do!
And Diane thanks for trying to ease my nerves about the whole naked
vacation thing. Big hugs to both
of you! Ok, so the time comes, we
walk on the nude beach and find lounge chairs on the beach to sit on. We decided not to hesitate, and just get naked right away.
G takes his shirt and shorts off with ease, and I dance around,
stalling for some more time, to get up the courage to bare all.
G gives me the evil eye and counts to three.
He counts to three again, and I do it and find solace in the lounge
chair for about fifteen minutes until Harold is waving us over to meet
some of the crew. We get
up and walk down to the water and meet the neatest people!
We met Craig and Melissa, Hense and Mel, Ro, Boomer and Stephanie, Jeff
and Kim, Bob and Annie and other WWWers.
It was great to finally meet them and to get acquainted.
Craig was amused at my uneasiness and asked me what I thought of the
whole nude thing so far. Well, I couldnt tell him because all I was seeing were
others heads and shoulders. I
couldnt look beyond head and shoulders until day three.
Then all of the colors of the rainbow appeared.
And how BEAUTIFUL all of the rainbows were!
Hedo isnt all hard bodies or perfect 10s. It is filled with wonderful people who are easy to talk with
and get to know. The people are
truly, the beauty of Hedo.
