Like many of the accounts I've read, our trip to Hedo began
long before the actual plane ride. In our case, it began, incredibly only 8
weeks into our relationship. After meeting Richard in early February, by the end
of March I was already signing us up for 5 days at Hedo. Such is my nature, I
suppose, but it felt right at the time, and certainly worked out that way as
well.
In my usual fashion, I decided I needed to know everything about Hedo before
getting there. This prompted a book search on Amazon.com and the purchase of
Chris Santilli's invaluable tutorial. It also resulted in an extensive web
search that turned up Denny's site, all the info it contained, and some email
exchange with Denny himself. Finally, it resulted in joining up for the WWW
week, even though our trip coincided with only part of that time.
At last, the date of our departure arrived and we were on our way.
In contrast to other reports we heard, our room was
immediately available upon our arrival, so we put our bags away and hurried to
the nude beach for our first real taste of Hedo.
What a taste! Unknown to us, the Lifestyles group overlapped
with our trip by a few days too, so we were immediately treated to some very
exciting goings-on in the pool and grotto. Wow! Within our first couple hours at
Hedo we saw some very public oral sex and a pretty full-fledged orgy in the
cave. What a welcome, and what a start to an incredible few days.
The days passed slowly and quickly at the same time, in that
way that only happens on vacation. Rather than give a detailed account of each
day, which I can scarcely remember, let me say that every minute of every day
was well spent no matter what we did. Just being with Richard every day was
sublime - being nude with Richard every day was utopian.
Some highlights for us included: the fun chatting with others
in the pool, hot tub, and at meals; the terrific grilled chicken at the beach;
our rousing time in Veronica's (with Richard's magical rendition of "Piano
Man"); a surprise 36th birthday present for me (that some of you heard
about); long languorous hours in the hot tub after midnight; our final evening's
dinner at Pastafari (complete with brief power failure); and most of all the
great people whom we would like to see again.
I'll just echo what others have said about the Hedo
experience. It is like no other. It is a taste of freedom that we rarely know.
It is a study in human nature and the wonderful things that can happen when
people shed their clothes, their inhibitions, their judgments, and their
preconceptions.
Let me also echo others' thanks to Denny for his amazing
organizational skills, and more than that, for the nature of his character which
just seems to bring people together. Although Richard and I were not full
participants in the WWW time, we enjoyed it and all of its attendees immensely.
It was great to meet new people and share the Hedo atmosphere and experience
with everyone.
Finally, the journey that began improbably 8 weeks into a new
relationship and that resulted in our trip to Hedo 3 months later, continues
today. Likely this is true for everyone that goes to Hedo, since it takes a
special kind of people in special kinds of relationships to undertake this type
of trip.
I hope that everyone reading this report can think about their
significant other and think "wow, I'm lucky". The likelihood is that
if you have been to Hedo, or can contemplate going to Hedo with the person you
love, you probably can.
Best of everything to all WWWers, and we hope to see you again soon.
