Long hard fought journey, but we made it. Airport issues with a delayed plane. Traffic from Mobay to Hedo was horrible. 90 minute trip took 3 hours.
VERY low travel to here, the plane was no where near full. Airport seemed empty. Even the regular immigration stations were walk right up and through.
Hedo occupancy, using the Friday Lobster grill out as reference, seems to be between 30 and 40% and that may be generous. Staff that we have seen are as friendly and welcoming as ever, maybe more so.
Will add more as the week goes on!

Last went to Hedo in nov 2019. That will be our last trip after many trips.
Nude pool was not the fun place it has been. taken over by very loud groups. Same with hot tub.
Beach too was a possessive thing with spots held and little respect for others.
Diving thing is last straw. That was the only thing holding us there. Now-NADA. |

We have been exploring other destinations also for the same reasons, among others.
Just had to take my complaint about the carvings being thrown away to Camille Seaton. The grounds manager Kenneth came at me yelling about how everything in that jungle area is and was garbage and "you people are not my employer" and "you people and your garbage".... amongst other choice words to me and the young bellman who escorted us to his office. And when I turned to just leave and end the confrontation, the man followed me yelling. That one needs to GO. So if you too have a complaint, take it to the top unless you enjoy that sort of treatment.
Lunch was actually served in the buffet today, which was surprising. Normally during such low occupancy, it is the nude grill and prude grill only for lunch.
Judy and Ron Unbelievable an employee would talk to a guest like that. I'd suggest you report that too. That's completely unacceptable. |

Ham on the breakfast buffet this morning finally. Hasn't been any since Saturday. The sushi menu is dramatically changed. Offerings come in "platters" with salads etc but you can still order some sushi rolls. I personally preferred the other offerings.
Pastafari menu is also changed, the shrimp pasta dish is gone, a favorite of mine.
Diving has been ok. Very few fish on the reefs.
Grounds are beautiful as ever.
