According to this article, the implementation of an online immigration/custom form is supposed to be available in June, 2019. A comment supplied at the end of the article from a recent traveler says it worked for them. Here is a link to the online form. Note that nothing is printed, it is all online. (DennyP Travel makes no promises that this actually works - it is Jamaica.) If anyone tries it, please report your experience here. A link to the online form can also be found on the Miscellaneous Jamaica Links page on my web site along with other Jamaica related informational links. Thanks to Hedo Chuck for pointing me to this information.

Just got to Jamaica today. We filled out the online form before we left the US. Just to be safe we also filled out the form handed out on the plane. We were never asked if we filled out the form online or saw a different line for those that did. We just went through the kiosk in the same manner as years past. So it appears the online form made no difference to our experience.

I appreciate the feedback.
It would be great if someone who fill out the form online asked an employee in the Immigration area if there was a separate process for them.
Thanks again.

To promote contactless immigration processes, the Jamaica Immigration department is asking that all arriving passengers use their online immigration form. I have a link to it on the COVID-19 page linked from my home page. There is also a link on the Hedonism II and Grand Lido Negril main pages and on the Jamaica Miscellaneous Info page.

So Last time I went 2019 this was just coming online so I didn't do it. I filled this out online a few weeks ago for a trip that is a couple weeks away. But how does this work. There is no confirmation or tracking number. It doesn't ask for email so there is no confirmation it went through. Do I just go up there and give them my passport and they will find it or do I have to tell them something. There really isnt much on their page

When I traveled to Jamaica a few weeks ago, the airline crew did not hand out the paper forms to fill out beforehand. On my way back to the U.S. they also did not hand them out. It looks like the trend to paperless immigration is growing.
I did fill out the Jamaica form ahead of time online. I used Club MoBay's arrival service. She did ask me if I filled out the form online. When I replied that I did, she said we could either use the kiosks or use the regular Club MoBay Fast Track line. She said there were few people in the Fast Track line. Since I know that the Jamaica computer systems could be problematic, I chose the Fast Track line. After I gave the agent there my passport, instead of asking me questions like they normally do, he looked at his screen, stamped my passport, and said welcome. Total time at the agent desk - 30 seconds or less. That makes me think that the information I entered online did go someplace.
I've never used the kiosks, so I can't speak to them.
I have Global Entry, so I never fill out a U.S. paper form on my return. That has really gotten quicker too. That kiosk used to take a picture and require fingerprints be read along with asking the same questions that are on the paper form. On my last two internation returns, it did the facial recognition step and spit out the receipt in a few seconds. I was on my way before I could put my passport away.

Global Entry is a great deal. You get PreCheck (keep your shoes on) for domestic flights too. The last couple of times we've had the same experience as Denny with the facial recognition.
The kiosks in Jamaica are a time saver, if they are working. We've been sent to machines that don't work or crap out half way through the process.
