Wondering about Grand Lido restaurants as travel resumes in better numbers. Last October, other that the buffet, one or two specialty restaurants were open nightly. Ocean Point, right near Grand Lido, was not open at all. We return there end of March, hoping for more recent information, if we can experience more options.

I will ask my resort contacts for an update and report back when I hear from them.

Thank you Denny. We are looking forward to our trip, wanted to add that in October we had less choices, but never disappointed, the food and service was so good.

Thanks, Bob. Last June I experienced the same reduced schedule there, but always had something good.

Denny, besides the grill, I did not think there were any restaurants at GLN. Dining meant, I thought, eating at the eateries within the Family section or at the adult Hideaway section.

I was referring to dining opportunities for GLN guests throughout the property.

The Ocean Point restaurant is on the other side of the fence next to GLN. December 2021 we were so pleased it was open for breakfast and evening dining. One night it rained so hard instead of closing as usual we convinced the staff to keep it open and we would all move to the covered Ocean Point Bar out of the open air dining section. We all became fast friends huddling together in the wind and torrential rain ( even umbrellas and a small bar roof didn't help) laughing and talking with the staff and new friends. So much fun we didn't even care we had to wait for our food between cloud bursts. Earlier in the week a group of us at GLN convinced them we loved Ocean Point rain or shine !!!

Interesting. Is Ocean Point dining open to the public, or just the all inclusive crowd?
All in all, I'd rather be a hippy.

It's on the Royalton property for guests of the Royalton/Hideaway/Grand Lido only.
