Seems Denva Facey and Michael Asemota are some of the latest "departures" during these difficult times.

Good grief, two favorites. Always smiling, always wonderful gentlemen. They will be missed.

Is that the Denva that was the front person at Pastafari? If so, he will certainly be missed by many.

well that's depressing beyond words....the hotel feels less and less like 'home' when the 'family' isn't there and each of us becomes a stranger until we work for many years to build those relationships with the current staff who doesn't know us. Bummer. I really liked those two gentlemen.

Yes Loni, he was the gentleman who let us in to Pastafari when we were drink and craving Creme Brulee'!

Truly sad and unfortunate news.

I believe the term is "furloughed" not "fired". . . and I also hear there was a time period of 90 days specified (not from official sources but heard many times). With occupancy at 40% or less, these types of actions are strictly business-preservation moves (my opinion). While I like these folks as much as everyone else, I also like a Hedo to come to.

Thanks, Charlie, for the clarification. 'Furlough' give me hope that the two gentlemen can keep it together for the months they don't have the Hedo job, and then, if they want to, can become re-employed.

Yes, furlough gives us hope. It is understandable considering recent occupancy.
