DennyP Travel Forums Resorts Hedonism II In-Hotel COVID-19 Testing

Starting January 11, there will be in-hotel COVID-19 testing available - details here on the main Hedonism II resort page.

I was just told that the lab is having "teething problems" and the service may not be available on January 11th as noted in their posted release.

The in-house testing is now scheduled to start on 1/24/21. An updated announcement is posted on a link found on my COVID-19 Travel Information Page.

The resort will release more details as they become known.

Hedonism II says that they will be set up with the required COVID-19 antigen testing either at the resort or someplace in Negril by the start of the requirement for guests to get testing within 72 hours of flying to the U.S.

When I get more details, I will post.

The resort says the test will be offered at the resort. See their response.

Remember the good old days when our biggest concern was what to pack.
To stay on topic, I believe if you had a positive covid test within 90 days and then have a negative test to travel, you can bring a dr note stating when you were positive. Hope this works, we will be back at home next week. If it does not we will give an update.

According to the CDC, there will be a form to fill out to attest you recovered from the virus. But I have not seen the details of that form at this point.

Wondering what the impact of the Vaccine being available will be on testing requirements

Like everything else related to COVID-19, things will change with time.

I updated the Hedonism II Main Resort Page with a link to the current announcement by the resort saying they will provide the tests complimentary to paying guests.

Even those that book at reduced group rates??? Or is the free test only for those that book directly with the resort?
