Are there any that you have had luck with at Hedo?

I bought Nord VPN and seldom can get it to work in Jamaica. Free VPN? From Hedo? Didn't know that was an option.

All VPNs need a solid, clean connection to work properly. Any type of interference and they assume a hacking attempt and shut down. It's a feature.

I've been using Tunnel Bear when I need a VPN from Jamaica to process credit cards. Their free allocation is plenty for my use.

Thanks for the input. I had an old ipad 2 that had a free vpn last year (EasySurf)? that worked great in Negril but have upgraded my ipad and now see that free is a thing of the past. Since I have to pay now was hoping to get one that works well. Have heard of Tunnel Bear, thanks Denny! I will check it out.

I'm using it right now from the resort.

We were there in April, and used Windscribe, and it worked flawlessly from our room in H block. We used the free version there which gives an ample 10gig of free VPN per month, and resets each month to another 10gig of free VPN. We use it on our tablets and smartphones too.
We also used it on a recent trip to the UK and Holland, again, worked flawlessly. Liked it so much we bought an annual subscription. The company is based in Richmond Hill Ontario.

We use Witopia. It does cost about $60 a year I think, but we need a reliable VPN for when we are in China. Even still, sometimes Witopia's gateways get blocked in China. Works great in Jamaica though, and anywhere else. It is a very good service.

I have used Express VPN at Hedo with no problems. The nearest server is in the Bahamas and Miami.

The issue with free VPNs are that they are usually overcrowded and therefore slow. Another argument is that if something is free, then you are probably the product. If you need a VPN for US Netflix then you are probably having to go to pay for it. Windscribe has a free trial option, but the trial doesn't support Netflix streaming. I'd go to a review site, not one of those sponsored reviews, and try to find a decent VPN that meets your need at an affordable price.

I use Express VPN also - no problem. I think I pay $100 / year? But I use it all the time across all my devices.
