I got a 1 pound bag of High Mountain coffee at the duty free (Sangster), cost about $18 if I remember correctly; Blue Mountain was at least double that.
Seems to me the Blue was $45 a pound at the Hedo shop.

All in all, I'd rather be a hippy.

Didn't check Hedo's gift shop. Price in Sangster was $44/lb in one shop earlier this month. If memory serves, there's a few $US variation between the various shops in Sangster. The range was something like $38-44 a year or 2 ago.

If its a cheaper price than mentioned, check that it is not a 'Blue Mountain Blend'. If you look closely, it guarentees only 20% Blue Mountain beans and 80% beans from coffee producing countries other than Jamaica.

I actually prefers the coffee from the other hills. It's still a quality Jamaican bean, they just can't legally call it Blue Mountain. But seriously, why pay more for marketing?

I prefer High Mountain coffee from the Blue Mountain venue. Much cheaper and I find it to have a taste lower in acid.
