I saw a picture of the Speciallty Bar offerings, that suggested that the Espresso bar is open from 7pm to 11pm. Do you think that is a typo?

I know that it is open for dinner service which starts at 7:30p to 10p. So those hours for the Espresso bar do make sense.

And obviously it's open during breakfast service too - starting around 7:30

Is this part of the upcharge services? Or part of the "all inclusive" services?

I didn't try it on my trip this past New Year's but in previous years, I was charged for it (I was able to charge it to my room and pay upon check-out).

Sounds like Hedo is trying to go to the "cruise ship" business model.

We don't remember the expresso bar being open for breakfast.

The expresso machine is still available in the main dining room coffee nook (where the ice tea and hot tea and coffee urns are located).

Of course this machine in the dining room coffee nook makes instant expresso with water and powder. I like real expresso with fresh coffee beans made with a real expresso machine like at the Expresso Bar,
Am I willing to pay extra? No, the Dutch in me comes out...I didn't even use my free resort credits at the Expresso Bar last December!

Would it be pedantic of me to point out that there is no such word as expresso? It is espresso, no X involved!

@ChicagoJake - That's what I thought, too, until I checked the dictionary:

https://www.thefreedictionary.com/expresso

Well, maybe it's an X espresso when it's been consumed? laugh

All in all, I'd rather be a hippy.

It's an expresso when you want to drink it fast -- the slower version makes all local stops.

It matters when you want to be pedantic, yes.

As it turns out, the specialty beverage machine in the coffee nook seems to be out of service during the hours the the espresso bar is open. the espresso bar was open both mornings and evenings.
