When we were at Hedo in January Harry mentioned at the repeaters party that this spring they were going to start the renovations on the nude pool and hot tube. Does anyone know of a official date when this is going to begin?

Back in December Harry said that they would give at least a 6 month advance notice on any major construction on the nude side. As of now, there hasn't been any notice.

Best not to drop a hot tube (especially a glass one) into the pool. The cold water would cause it to break and broken glass is not good in a pool.

We got back 4-2, asked while we were there about renos since we are going back in August. We were told first 2 weeks of December is when they were going to do the nude pool since that is their lowest occupancy time.

I was there is March, and there was a Send Off Party for the Lewd Pool. The pool on the main beach. The plan, so I heard, is to do the Lude Pool in to something FANTASTIC, and once that is done, they will then tackle the nude pool area. (Meaning it will be the nude pool for a small amount of time while the actual nude pool area is being done ). But the Nude Pool area is not going to be done until After the lewd pool. And it was closed as I was leaving March 19th, already drained and ready for it's demolition. So it will be a few months before the nude pool area starts the renovations.

To be fair, the warning sign on the main pool deck Jacuzzi reads "rules for hot TUBE use".

"Lude" pool? That's a new term to me. I read it as "Lube" pool... even that small pool would take a lot of lube!

It may have been full of WATER, but I don't think it's ever been full of people. The shade and leaves from that big tree are part of the reason...

Harry announced at the repeaters party on 4-20 that they have changed their plans about redoing the nude pool this year and will update the balance of the bathrooms and change out all the a/c units instead. They also have something ordered to replace and improve the awful hurtful black rubber matts they currently have on the stairs and walkways of the nude pool for this year.

We were there for a day pass not long ago. I am big guy and relatively tough all over and can take a lot of pain (from years of shoeing horses) ... except for the bottoms of my feet! Zero tolerance for pain there! And that mat around the pool was revealing in reality what a total freaking wuss I am every time I gingerly made my way across it. My wife makes fun of me relentlessly about this... it's one of the things I love about her.
I would have walked around the other way but with the new DJ shack over there it is not easy, the EC's were blaring music so loud it hurt, screaming into a microphone, and pretending to vigorously hump some of the female guests who were happily bent over in front of them up there. lol
