The last time we were at Hedo there was a fee to use their computers/internet. Has anything changed with regards to this?

I believe wifi is free in the courtyard and dining area. To use it in your room there is a charge.

Dave is correct. The cost for the wifi usage outside of the courtyard/dining area can be found at:

If you have a T-Mobile account, you get free data roaming in Jamaica (and many other countries). No need to use the Hedo wi-fi at all. Phone calls are not free, but internet access is.

If you want to use the computers in the Internet Cafe, there is still a nominal (hourly) charge for this. As others have said, if you have a laptop or tablet you can get online in the courtyard at no charge.

I have been meaning to ask, where were the computers available for a fee relocated to?

Judy, when we were there in November, I went to the desk to ask about that. I wanted the do our Southwest check in. I told the lady what I wanted to do and she took me to a computer just inside the back office behind the desk. There was no charge. I'm not sure if I could have stayed there and logged on to my email etc.

The lobby renovations were just being finished when we were there in October, and there didn't seem to be a spot for the computers like there used to be.
I think most who will want to use a computer while there probably BYO in some form whether it be a laptop, tablet or smartphone.
These times, they are a changin'

Just inside the door adjacent to the front desk, there are three computers. One provides free access ONLY to the airlines info for check-in, seat assignment, etc. The other two are full access machines available for a fee paid prior to their use. The front desk staff provide you with an access code for the amount of time you purchase to allow you to log on. Once your time is expired, the machine logs you off automatically.

MBJ now allows the use of electronic boarding passes on your phone, so the need to print a hardcopy is less urgent.

And you need not have a boarding pass at Sangster (though you should check in online to make sure your seat is confirmed)...the ticket counter gives you a boarding pass.

Found signal in and near courtyard OK until it rained and a lot of folks came up and started to all "suck" on the bandwidth.
It was nice having free WiFi on the property, as I could do airline confirmation and could have made a call home if needed.
36 trips so far. #37 early Feb 2022 Have moved from "The Library" to the less crowded C-O beach.
