My hubby and I are thinking of returning once again to Hedo after 7 years. We previously had 2 trips there and loved each one, unfortunatly my hubby had bowel cancer and we were unable to go, but now he is whole again bar a few scars so
we are planning a return trip next year.
No doubt things will have changed a lot but hopefully not the happy carefree holiday we remember.

It's still a happy carefree holiday. Guests with surgery scars are common. If you folks decide to return, welcome back!

Some Hedo changes in 7 years (perhaps you know of these already),
MoBay/Hedo transfers are no longer an 'inclusion' which means its up to you to get to Hedo. See Denny's advice for his transport suggestions.
there is now a beach towel exchange procedure: when you check in you will get some 'towel cards' which you exchange on the beach for beach towels. Afterwards, turn an old one in and get a clean on. Towel stations are at the water sports shack and the security station between Hedo and the closed Point Village (open 24 hours). Must return a towel when leaving.
Prude beach grill has an expanded menu and tables/chairs for lunch. Body wrap is appropriate for this venue.
Jerked Chicken is available all day long from both beach grills
breakfast has enhanced offerings.
there has been a lot of staff changes; Delroy and Scumba are still at their bar; breakfast Charlie is no longer at Hedo

They are still included for some bookings. Some group contracts through mid 2013 still include transfers.

a few changes here and there, but you'll find the basic hedo the same. enjoy your trip!!!!
