Delroy named me, Rasta became my husband's name (if you know him or have seen him you know why). Just curious since I'm nosey.

We had been going to Hedo for such a long time that we thought we qualified as antiques.

I don't like anonymity among my Hedo friends.

Heck, I don't even send anonymous letters because I think it means that you don't really mean what you are saying.

I could suffer the risks of not being anonymous though, but, luckily, I've not been bitten in the butt (yet).

But now that I'm married (July 2009) I did legally change my last name, but I use my birth name to publish.

Oh geesh, I'm fooling myself...was just thinking of how many times I've introduced myself as Fiona from Nome, Alaska, on the stage at Hedo.

Regards,
Chris

From the movie, The Endless Summer. Its title is based on the idea that if one had enough time and money it would be possible to follow the summer around the world, making it endless. I think most of us on this board mentally thrive in an "endless summer," especially on cold winter days away from the tropics.

One of my passions is wilderness backpacking with a little mountain climbing thrown in. Every once in a while I get lost. Most of the time I find my way back. But it's hard to tell until the end.

Next trip.... Tomorrow morning 5:50am, arrv MBJ 11:56am!!

What do you mean "decide"? My mother gave me this name. I am named after my great Uncle HedoSean. He originated nekkid partying in my part of the country. Just kidding.....

I was so stoked on our first trip after having discovered this site online and shown it to HedoMary that I just had to put hedosean.

My friends all call me Jake (even though that isn't my legal name), and I'm from Chicago, so it just seemed natural.

May and I are a unit, and we couldn't be bothered with fake names (no need, no interest), so WalterandMay.

May was given a nickname on our first Hedo trip "All the Way May" and I'm often known as "May's husband", but all that seems too much for a user name.

Walter (and May).

Don't ask me what I do for a living! It's boring and I don't want to talk about it.

Walter, haven't you been known as May's father on at least one occasion? I understand that though. May looks barely legal (I'm making NBH points for Dec already!).

I guess we thought it would be JustUs on our vacation, not a group of instant friends!

Oh yeah? You'll get NBHs, but they'll be from me, not May! Ha!

Walter.

I have been affectionately called "TravelSlut" or "TheTravelSlut" for over 20 years after being told by friends and family that I'd go and travel anywhere, anytime, anyway, for anything and with just about anyone to feed my travel addiction.

So far, it has taken me to 80 countries on 6 continents and over 50 cruises--and I have only just begun. :-)

I also get called TS now which works OK as either "TravelSlut" or "Travel Specialist" (which is on my business card)--lol.

I lived within the Adirondack Park which covers 6 million acres of public and private land in the northernmost New York State. Most people have no idea how wild this territory is. I still live within a few miles of the Park. For me, the moniker AdirondackPaul reflects my first love. I love Hedo, but the Adirondacks are special.
