Hi everyone,
I will be turning 50 while in Hedo next month, and I was wondering if anything special is done for the people celebrating birthdays. Can someone tell me? I am traveling there with another single girlfriend, and we are looking forward to an awesome time!!! Woo hoo! Jamaica soon come!

There are specials available.
For me, the special gift is a table set up with your name on it using Jamaican flowers and you can have a cake baked just for you.
Ask for a dining room manager the day before and tell him of your requests. I really like the carrot cake but most folks like the chocolate version. You can ask for a table for 8 or just for you and your friend. Ask for wine from the Italian eatery, sips better.
Alternatives: dinner at the Japanese or Italian eatery and have the cake delivered there. But it is nice to have a table with your name on it. Finding 6 more folks to dine with will not be a problem, but a dinner for 2 is also wonderful.
Just image what your 60th will be like,

Great information, Chuck....thank you! We are hoping to make some friends while in Hedo. So hopefully filling a table with 6 newly met friends will not be a problem. My friend is truly a friend, and not a partner (except in crime!), so a dinner for two on my birthday would be.....not so good. Hoping for a great, great, birthday celebration for the big 5-0!

Alison (what a High School girlfriend she was), when you check in (or get the check in card at the SuperClubs lounge at the MoBay airport) mark that you are there for your birthday. You MIGHT get a plate of fruit in your room. Maybe some bubbly.
My advice about the table and cake still applies.

I celebrated many birthdays at Hedo if u ask in advance they will make u a small cake. Also if there are enough of you book one of the restaurants in advance if its just a couple of people book same morning. I believe if you mention it they will give you a bottle of champagne and fruit in your room . Take the champagne to the hottub keep it cold easy way to make new friends, best of all enjoy your birthday you only turn 50 once and Hedo is the place

Two single women traveling together at Hedo will NOT have any trouble at all finding all the new friends they want....... just relax, be yourself, and you'll find all the fun you want.

I celebrated my 50th there, but didn't didn't get anything special except one guy at the nude bar giving me a "salute", which I didn't even notice until my hubby pointed it out!!!

HedoMary and I have talked about going on one of our birthdays (sep 29 or Nov 12). We have never acted on it but I would love to give HedoMary a trip their one her birthday. It just appeals to me more to do it that way as I don't tend to want to celebrate my own birthday so much.

I have been lucky to be at Hedo for my birthday for the last four years, and will be again this year!! Celebrated my 37, 38, 39 & 40th so far, with this year being 41. The moment I really remember the most was my 38th birthday at Pastafari, when we had a table for 8 friends and they sang happy birthday to me, but the whole place was filled with personal friends that I had met at Hedo and by the end of the song, the whole restaurant was on their feet serenading me by name and offering toasts!! WOW!!! It blew my mind!! Last year was a Great 40th birthday and I celebrated ALL day long with the help of my friends!!

Happy Birthday!! We'll be there for our 38th anniversay. I'll be there on the 28th, maybe I'll have a chance to see you and wish you a happy birthday. Have a great 50th!! I can't think of a better place to spend a birthday.( or anniversary )

lets see...we have a 39th(29 publicly) Birthday in November, a 40th In September, a 22nd Anniversary in December, and a 15 th Anniversary in the beginning of next April. add that to our already schelded trip and that would make five in the next year or so. Wait, I know I can come up with some more anniversaries (lets see....when was my first Big Mac?)
