Thanks for the replies and confirmation. Yes, we wear masks all the time and our plan is to "Mask-up" in the parking lot in Cleveland and not take them off till in the room at Hedo. We know about needing the print-out of test results and will be watching for any updates to the Jamaican Ministry of Health requirements as covered here https://www.visitjamaica.com/travelauthorization/We can get the Vax starting 1/26 just have to hope the line moves faster but since we don't fly out till end March I expect some Jamaican requirements will change. At least the AA 1st class is not 3 seats.

Butch Stewart died
Hedo-regular
01/09/2021 06:15 AM
For anybody who hasn't heard about this - Butch Stewart, the head of Sandals and Beaches resorts died Jan. 4 at the age of 79.
Even though he and John Issa were rivals and didn't get along, both were instrumental to bringing tons of tourism to Jamaica.
At one point, he even owned Jamaica Air.
He was quite a guy, and I have a friend who once watched him in action, ordering staff to do this and that to accomodate a guest on very short notice.
Respect and RIP.

Salmonella Outbreak
The Onanist
01/05/2021 05:33 PM
Dozens Ill From Salmonella At Jamaican ResortAn apparent salmonella outbreak at a resort in Jamaica has ruined vacations for potentially dozens of holiday travelers, including those who booked their trips before the coronavirus lockdowns began, The Post has learned.
“It was a nightmare,” Chantel Ele of Lincoln, Nebraska, told The Post of her experience at the Grand Palladium Resort and Spa, which was echoed by other people online, including claims of hospitalizations. “I don’t know how many people go on an all-inclusive vacation and lose weight.”
Ele and her husband, Justin, secured their room at the 537-room beachside resort, which boasts 11 restaurants, 17 bars and “one of the largest swimming pools in the Caribbean,” in February before the pandemic hit.
