We just returned from the Desire Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico.  The following is "Our" opinion.

We went to the Desire Resort & Spa this year from 2-28-2010 through 3-7-2010.  This is our 5th trip to this resort, but our first time back since my cancer in 2007 (Cancer sucks!!!).  We have also been to Hedo II 8-times before.  In "Our" opinion, we will never go back to Hedo II.  Although we have met some of our best friends at Hedo II, the facility, food and service at Desire is far above what we have experienced at Hedo II.

Another reason we enjoy Desire so much is it's only couples.  No single males to put up with at the hot tub.  My wife is very good looking and this has been a problem in the past.

In "Our" opinion, Hedo II is in big trouble.  With resorts like Desire, why would you settle for anything less?

We met some very nice couples on this trip.  It is so nice to meet couples so you can see what "Both" the man and woman look like and see if your personalities click.

On this trip, we saw many upgrades at Desire.  The pool loungers are very high quality and I like the way you can get assigned your loungers for the day.  They have upgraded the beach beds also.  There is some sort of entertainment all day long if you want to participate.  Also, the entertainment at night is much better.  While we were there, they were also upgrading the Disco.  Can't wait to see it finished.  Desire is constantly improving things.

Because of my recent illness, I have a hard time walking up stairs.  When we checked in, we requested a ground floor room and as close to the pool as possible.  We were given room #1006 which is right next to the pool.  We were "VERY" impressed!!  Everyone at Desire went way out of there way to accommodate us.  A special "Thank-You" for that.

On another note, on our last night there, it was during the Lifestyle Lounge Group take over.  We had no idea what to expect.  I must say " This group knows how to party"!!  Even though we were not part of this group, they made us feel like we were.  Very polite and friendly.  If in the future we can ever hook up with this group, we will!
