Trip Report…….part of the Lifestyle Lounge takeover

Preface this with our first trip to any Lifestyle place, nervous is one way to put it.  Another is the wife said, “24hours, if I don’t like it we go to the Hilton.”  No pressure! LOL

Ground Transportation was included and worked seamlessly….as it should

Checking in was simple…..As it should be.

Our room was not ready until 3pm (we arrived at noon)….no worries

Went to a friends and changed, found the bar and pool……..no worries.  Staff was wonderful, carried our bags, was attentive at the bar, and had happy faces.  By the time the drink was done and we chatted to one couple our room was ready.

ROOM: 2503

Was an Ocean View all the way at the end of the property.  Obviously had sand in it during the Hurricane a couple of months before.  You could not tell one grain of sand was ever in the room.  Air conditioning worked great!  Bed was very firm (fine by me and the wife).  Tile in the bathroom and a shower that was great!!!!  Both of us fit in the shower at the same time,  no worries.  Outlets worked well and the Safe was safe and easy to use.

Our maids kept our fridge full of 4 waters at all times ( I drink a lot of water, also use it to brush your teeth).

POOL:

Nice pool plenty of chairs and towels….beach near by.   Was a very good time.  Everything is really down by the pool.  Food, drink, entertainment. Etc.

JACUZZI:

One of the best things about the place is the roof top Jacuzzi.  It is awesome with the views of the ocean, and all the beds.  Plus the bar is there as well.  You really don’t have to be anywhere else the whole time there if you do not want to be.  This is also where a lot of action takes place in the afternoon.  Its like a sexual happy hour.  Or a nice place to watch a sexual happy hour.  Your call.

FOOD:

Quality was surprisingly good.  We are a little snobbish when it comes to food.  We live in DC and have a lot of great restaurants.   Buffet had good variety and the cooks would make anything you want fresh right there.

Restaurants

International, which we ate at twice, was great.   Food was really good and the service very good.  (Carlos took care of us).  We ordered wine both times and was impressed as well (we are not wine snobs though).  Never ate at the Mexican place.

Grill:

Everything you could want with great Quality.  Wife loves the Salsa and fajitas, I went for the club sandwich and nachos.

DISCO/PLAYROOM

Small but well laid out.  Although the dance floor stage is small.  Almost better to get rid of it, but leave the poles.  I even did a strip dance on it and used the poles.   Thank god the wife was getting pole dancing lessons and hour earlier or I would not of had any idea what to do!!!!  Strippers will get better tips from me in the future.

Playroom is beautiful; even if you don’t play check it out.  It will get you in the mood.  Please put the towels down, most did not that we saw.

STAFF:

These people worked the ass off for us the whole time we were there.  I know its and all inclusive place, but found that a couple of  dollars went a long way.  Tipped the pizza guy one night and was just near it the next night and a pizza appeared in my hand.  The service was as good or better than 5 star hotels I have stayed at.  I was constantly amazed at how much attention we got for just literally 2 bucks.  PS that’s why I got to eat at the International rest twice with no reservations either time.  If you are there around 7ish before everyone else they will squeeze you in.

Overall we would go back in a second.  The freedom and the staff and the accommodations had me and the wife so in love with each other that the sex was great!!!!

Well back to dealing with Kids, work and general people clothed… LOL

We read a lot of reports before going and hope this helps.
