August 19-24
This trip was amazing! A short rundown, since many reports are the same…… We arrived blah blah from Phila. Landed 10:21 a.m. Used Lomas Travel. EASY TRANSPORTATION!! THEY found us!! Within one hour, we were at poolside. Easy check-in. Downside-those GOOFY wrist/anklebands!!! Mine conveniently “fell off” by day two. If I am leaving the resort, then, o.k, but we were not leaving! Bathrooms were in the restaurant, and if you do not know that (as I did not), then the choice was strip at poolside. Grill food was good, a bit redundant by the end of our stay. WARNING!!!! WATCH MIXING ALCOHOL, SUN, FUN, AND THE BEACH!! Unfortunately, I needed that warning before I got there, because I do not remember much after 2:30. Dinner was a haze. I do remember the beds by the hot tub, the view…. the fun….
We had changed rooms three times. Requested king, first floor, ocean front. First was queen, 2nd floor oceanview. Second room was king, 2nd floor, poolfront. Thanks to T & A, we got their room when they checked out next day. Large sectional couch, with the king bed behind a half-wall. Open the doors, and there is the ocean!! Will request that room next time! (as long as T & A didn’t book first!) Nice- second room had a HUGE shower with glass doors… Downside-third room had an open shower, which was nice but made the floor slippery! Also the showerhead was like 6 ½ feet high, and I could not reach!! Our third room was 2001, but, sorry, as I told you earlier, I don’t remember much from the first night, so I do not remember the room #’s. 8-)
Every day, clothes, breakfast, no clothes, pool, hot tub, clothes, dinner, disco, no clothes, hot tub. In a nutshell. Nookie in between. Friday was the beach party, and I think they kicked us out of the pool (they just closed the bar, but that was enough for us to leave!!)
We all ventured to the hot tub………body shots….…….crazy shit………..…’nuff said.
Disco playroom was empty, but we stayed anyway, had the room to ourselves!!
Late that night, Dan and I dragged the lounge chairs to the oceans edge and watched the stars. Awesome.
Saturday, clothes, breakfast, no clothes, pool, hot tub……………..body shots ( the other kind) (ah haaa!!)…………..crazy shit…………… NEVER MADE IT to dinner, WARNING!!! DO NOT SUBSTITUTE A MEAL WITH ALCOHOL!!!!! I told you so, E & R AND C & R !!!! We felt like shit!! Then back to the routine, disco, no clothes, hot tub.
Sunday, the usual. Please play pool volleyball and Desire games, and Spanish class with Maria and Koochie Koochie Papa Richie, and Janna. Watch the water polo, people got really hurt, Black eyes!! (ahem, Ron!) Downside-that DAMN pool was warmer than the hot tub by noon!! Need cold water piped through! Dinner was at the International restaurant with E & R. Awesome company and feels like paradise. When we left the restaurant, Dan asked for more Frangelica, and the manager ran back to get him a full glass.
Monday was our last full day, and the sameas above, except more crazy shit, R & S taught us a few things……. C & R also came in handy!! This was a 5 a.m. night ( or morning). Tuesday we packed up and stayed at the pool until the last waking moment.
Thanks A & C for your showers so we could tidy up b4 the plane. Also
thank you for the morning pre-breakfast platters and afternoon champagne and appetizers with the breathtaking view. Thank you Arturro at the hot tub for always having my drink ready, even when I got tired of one flavor, you always had a different one for me. Please, everyone, tip who deserves it, but remember, most of the time YOU DON’T HAVE POCKETS!!! We plan on returning, not as soon as we like, but whoever is going, take off your clothes, be free, because nobody cares!! Everybody is wonderful, the employees, other guests. Have fun!!!!
