Key West Fantasy Fest: Ron & Nicole, October 2009
Fantasy Fest 2009. Whaddua week. If you've never been to a
Key Week Fantasy Fest - you really gotta try is just once.
It's always the last Saturday night in October round about
Halloween week.
Very hard decision to make this year. Phillies World Series
games on one hand--Key West on the other so I got both. Sold
my tickets for the Phillies home games and bought some tix
for the Yankees game. Worked out great.
Went along with New Mike and Gina from Jersey and Nicole &
myself. As you will see from the pictures, well, I'm still
shaking my head.
Stayed at the Galleon which is right on the water.
OUTSTANDING resort. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, l/r/, kitchen. d/r,
bar. Wouldn't mind living here full time. Place sleeps 6
with no problems and could sleep up to 10 with cots.

The parade itself was around 75 floats all with different
themes. Ya really can't tell the guys from the gals as you can
tell from the pictures we posted. No one has a problem with
pictures as everyone is masked. The really good costumes just
stop for photo shoots. The police estimated about 125,000 folks
in for the parade- ZERO arrests. Wonder why that is?
The restaurants are fantastic, the weather is picture perfect
and there's nothing like the KEY WEST SUNSET.
