Hedonism II Trip Report - John
April 20 – May 3, 2025 – Hedonism II Trip Report
I arrived at Sangster International Airport on Easter Sunday (4/20/2025) and there were no lines at all in immigration! I proceeded to my bus in about 10 minutes. I have never seen it like that before!
I arrived at Hedo around 4PM to check in. This was my 50th trip.
Everything was in order and the check in process went very smoothly. I received my Hedo water bottle and rubber wrist band/key and proceeded to my room. It was a 2nd floor room on the clothing optional side near Pastafari. Everything in the room worked great which includes the A/C, hot water and wi-fi. I did not have to reconnect my phone once during my two-week stay.
They continue to play bocce on the nude beach around 11:30am every day. I enjoy playing and there are typically about 15-20 people that play every day. They did add some new wooden bocce balls this trip. The usual pool games then followed bocce including Jamaican trivia.
I did not go into the Piano Bar or Nightclub this trip. The repeat guest parties, held on Tuesdays, took place in the courtyard.
The menus in Pastafari and The Flame changed a bit with a lot more options and the food was really good! I did not go to Harrysan. And I did not eat at the beach grills this trip. The Main Dining Area food (buffet) was also very good.
As for improvements, they now have new main dining room tables and chairs, the new spa building is complete, you can now enter Harrysan from either the courtyard or main dining room, and they replaced the high step from the playroom / tennis courts to the H-Block rooms with a ramp. Refer to some pics I took below.
The price of a massage is still $132.00 for 50 minutes if you have it done on the beach. That was for a Swedish massage. Other massages cost a bit more. I believe if you have it done in the spa the price is a less. I do wish they would lower the price to get a massage as there were not a lot of people getting them.
The nightly shows were really excellent this year and I especially enjoyed watching the talent shows on Thursdays and the Rock Show on Fridays. Some of the newer singers (e.g., Komari) are truly excellent and Winston does a great job coordinating all the shows. The 2nd Friday Rock Show was really good!
The resident band “Roots Explosion” is truly excellent. As a musician myself (bassist), these guys really play well together and are very talented. I met ‘Easy’ their bassist and had 4 conversations with him which was really cool!
All-in-all I had a great time!
