Trip down to Mo bay was good. Delta kicked us off our flight that we had pre approved with them, causing us to have a 3 hour delay. Mo bay airport was good. We went through all checks very fast. found our pre arranged taxi driver without any problem. Thanks to Mr Realiable. Arrived at Hedo with only a short delay checking in. The food didnt seem to be as good as it had in the past. But the resort was good. All Hedo employees seem to be in good spirits and very welcoming. Our taxi driver suggested that we stay on resort and not walk on the beach because of possible crime increase in Negril. The catamaran trip was good but would advise guests to take their own drink from the resort. Not sure but we noticed that the drinks served on the boat were different than what the bartenders at Hedo served. Mornings are a great time for ourselves. The only place to get coffee early is at the nude grill and sometimes no one is there and no cups available as we are not supposed to serve ourself. Also after the first day and receiving a little to much sun, the wife slipped a tee shirt on to walk down to get a cup of coffee. The guard informed that we had to be nude to come to the nude grill. Understand that no one should be dressed but this was 6 AM. No one but a few were there to get coffee. The guard actually said something to a woman that had on a bikini bottom. REALLY. The atmosphere was great during the day with the exception of rain every afternoon, welcome to Jamaica. There was a glitch on the covid test day at Hedo. They didnt do any testing on Wednesday and it seemed the entire resort was checking out on Saturday. This caused a huge line on Thursday, so much so that the nurse giving the tests was scheduled to leave at 11 AM and just starting at 9 AM. With About 80 people having waited since 9, were still in line. Most like us had made reservations for around 9. With about 12 people line in front of us and waiting for 2 hours we were told that after 11 she would not be giving tests that day. At first she said that she didnt have any more tests. After several protests that more tests could be brought in, this was changed to she was scheduled to leave at 11. My wife had to complain to the manager about this and after several words it was agreed that all in line would get the test. All in All and during these times, it was a great trip. We would it again and hope to be back.
