Hedonism II Trip Report - John: April 2021

Back from Hedo.

Everything was ‘almost’ back to normal with the exception of mask wearing in some indoor locations (e.g., gift shop, lobby, etc.) and the staff serving the food at the buffet.

Most likely due to lower occupancy than normal, they also did not serve the lunch buffet upstairs (except for 1 day). Instead, lunch was served at the other locations (e.g., The Flame and nude pool). They also served Jamaican food near the nude pool using large BBQ grilles.

While there, they started to replace the old card reader door locks with proximity sensor types using wrist band sensors. I attached 2 pics of the new door locks and wrist bands. Feel free to publish this information if you like.

I also included a pic of the dive boat (on its trailer) that will need to be repaired since it sunk earlier. I think Shane sent you a few pics of the sunken boat earlier. Feel free to publish this pic if you like.

Their Covid testing for the trip home was very well organized. It was done on the back, outdoor patio of the piano bar. The results come back in about 2 minutes and they provide you an email and printed copy upon request. I understand they are now doing this testing DAILY.

As always, I had a great time and everything worked out fine.
