Hedonism II Trip Report: John & Alma, Dec 2018-Wet, Wild & Wicked

We were at Hedo December 2 - December 18 , 2018 for yet another mind blowing, truley magical adventure. Old friends welcomed us upon arrival and we knew we were home once again.

We had the good fortune of waking up to ocean view and even after 2 nights mid trip, voluntarily sleeping at Point Village at night (a short beach walk to Hedo ) we were returned to ocean view next to our previous room. It was so amazing to watch the sun set on the ocean with Patty and Philip's yacht in the  distance. Curiosity about Point Village was satisfied thanks to a good friend who let us in on the opportunity.
Naked Parasailing with my dearest friend from Ohio was a total rush. My normally bold and fearless friend was terrified. As for me, the woman who can't usually deal with heights whatsoever, it was absolutely thrilling. Naked is like a super hero cape for me; I was flying high, thanks to encouraging beach bound friends.

It warms my heart to reminisce about ALL the very special people (new and old friends of a lifetime we spent time with) all of whom will will likely see again next year and if not, we will always fondly remember. So cool to see people we had not seen in several years, as well as sharing delightful times with  new friends from several months earlier at Hedo.

From the house band Roots to Live Wyaa, a well known Jamaican Band and the Rockin Country Bands all made dancing feel like a FABULOUS idea each and every night.

The already amazing food gets better with every trip. My favourite is the evening Flame restaurant on the beach (by day, the site of the prude grill) incredible attention for the single diner or a table full of new and old friends alike. The buffet options have new surprises even when staying several weeks. For example, the  clams in white wine sauce at lunch and the strawberries dnext ipped in white chocolate at dinner were  absolutely decadent.
The long leisurely ladies luncheons and the dinners with old friends were wonderful beyond measure.
I got everything I fantasize about  between trips....total peace of mind, appreciation of the present moment and mutual unconditional acceptance.
