Hedonism II Trip Report
Week of January 17th 2015
This was our third trip to Hedo, our first in 4 years with observations in no particular order.
Room
We stayed in a Garden nude room 3126. It had been freshly painted with a new TV and some other minor cosmetic improvements. It was clean and comfy. The shower door leaked a bit but not enough to be an issue. The shower faucet is still a mysterious puzzle akin to trying to tune in an obscure radio station with a loose dial. Maid service was great.
Food
Food has improved with better variety. We were only disappointed with one dinner menu but there was still enough to choose from. Cooking and service staff were great - food was tasty and table service was prompt and cheerful.
Entertainment
Major upgrade here. Kudos to Winston for upgrading the level of evening productions. The dancers were highly skilled and the choreography was artistic and sexy. The EC's were friendly and genuinely having fun with the guests.
Courtyard
Nice redo here. The seating was great for early morning WIFI access and evening social gatherings.
Piano Bar
Good idea to take out fishtank wall and expand the piano seating area as well as the deck outside the glass wall. It creates much more space and greatly increases the room volume.
Catamaran Cruise
Awesome time on the water. Love the beach getaway on the island. Jerk chicken cookout was crazy good.
Daytime Fun
The nude pool was rockin' every day - excellent job by our host couples. Security was kind of inconsistent with enforcing no clothing rule. The sex police were out in full force on the beach not allowing much PDA's except if you were out in the water. At the pool it was anything goes. One odd thing - I am an early morning beach walker. After walking from end to end I was approached by security and asked if I was a guest at the resort. I found it a bit strange and almost insulting.
New bathrooms
Great remodel on the baths at the pool and courtyard.
Random musings
It was somewhat different from the last time we were here. The level of sexual activity was lower especially at the beach. Evenings in the hot tub were also somewhat subdued. The daytime fun at the nude pool was sexy and easily the best time of the day.
We found that the overall crowd this time was much more friendly and significantly less cliquey. This might be due to more people being somewhat newer to Hedo. In our previous trips the "many timers" seemed to be less motivated to make new friends - just our own opinion. All in all we had the most fun this time and made more new friends.
Major shout out to our host couple Denise & Mike. They got the crowd going and the party moving. We especially enjoyed the spiked whipped cream that we all got to lick off of Denise's crazy hot body as well as anyone else that Mike could spray it on. Her private Powerade waterfall had a special flavor and was a meal in itself....lol
One remodel suggestion: build a playroom somewhere. It would add to the fun immensely and provide a late night destination for interested couples to let loose. We have enjoyed them at many clubs and it always provides us with lasting memories of new friends.
Travel logistics
As usual our booking through Denny and Tom's trips was flawless. We enjoyed the group meet and greets and all of the other little perks/specials that come with it.
