Randy & Eileen - July, 2007
July 28th to Aug
4th, 2007
Having been to Hedo II in 2005 we had to go back. With the goal of
doing all the things that we didn't get to do, we were ready to go.
Traveling on Delta on a Saturday is a basic nightmare if you are coming
through Atlanta which of course all Delta flights seem to go through
Atlanta. But soon we arrive after a 12 hour travel for a 5 hour flight
and were quickly rushed through registration and on our way to the
H-block. Having a burger and fries at the prude grill (she is still a
shy girl) soon we went back to the room and got into the party by
shedding the fabric and getting some long needed sun. Soon the
first day came to an end because exhaustion had taken a toll.
Back to the room, where the A/C was working not the greatest but still
doing the job. Slept like a log and up and at it early the next day.
Omelets are still the greatest. Plenty of fresh fruit and the
buffet was plentiful every day.
The action at the nude pool was subdued during the day but after dark
there were alot of action not only in the hot tub or on the cement
but on the beach. Check off one the things that was on our list to
do. Another was having dinner off the resort at one of the local
restaurants. Dinner the Xbati was delicious and we recommend the sunset
there also watch for the cliff diver to search for the lobsters.
Witnessing the renewal of vows by two of our newest friends was a
beautiful experience and we wish them another 25 years of happiness.
Soon the week had to come to an end and we began the long trek back to
the real world. The return flight was a just as the arriving flight.
Suggestion to anyone wanting to fly on Delta, which is a good airline,
try to avoid Atlanta and save some of your sanity.
