Ron & Naomi - November, 2006

Trip report 11/16/2006 11/21/2006

This was our 2nd trip to Jamaica 1st trip to Hedo.  The plane ride out of Denver was long but uneventful our luggage made it in good shape. The van ride took an hour and 45 minutes including a beer stop.  We got checked in and to our room on the prude side about 6PM.

After a quick unpack job changed cloths and headed for the bar got drinks and wandered around getting to know the place. The toga party was a lot of fun, the ladies put on a fine toga fashion show.  After that headed to the nude side got nekid soaked in the hot tub for a while and called it a day.

Friday we had breakfast (the best meal in the main dining room) then explored the resort we found 2 hidden hot tubs but never did find the 3rd  (other fun things to do) After lunch we went water skiing. I had never skied on salt water before; the water was very smooth had a great time. The ski boat was in good shape and had plenty of power. The staff members that ran the boat were very good.

That night we ate at the Italian restaurant, Im not much of an Italian fan but Naomi thought it was great.

Saturday we did the cat cruise over to the cliffs. The boat wasnt crowded only 8 couples.

We met 2 couples that were staying at GNL they were a blast to party with. Naomi was hesitant to go snorkeling but once I got her in the water she really enjoyed it.

Over at the cave as the boat pulled in an audience lined up on the top of the cliff (I guess to get a peek at the naked people) The swim into the cave and back to the boat was kind of long for a old guy, but well worth it. We ate at the Japanese restaurant that night it was real good other than the portions were a little small.

Sunday we just stayed on the beach and got acquainted with the butt crack tour folks they are all very friendly people enjoyed visiting with them.

Monday it rained off and on all day so we walked over to the craft market bought some souvenirs and returned to our eviction notice under the door.

Tidbits:

Lunch and Dinner at the main dining room could use some improvement.

The lunch and dinnertime entertainment was very good.

PDAs we saw some but dont know if they were excessive since it was our first trip there.  A grounds keeper propositioned Naomi during the daylight she took care of it herself. (DONT MESS WITH AN IRISH GIRL) The entire Hedo staff did a great job it made out stay very enjoyable.   A great vacation.
