Pete & Karol - November, 2006

Hedo II November 4 11, 2006

This was our second trip to Hedo II this year, and the tenth, over 27 years.

We arrived a bit before midnight after an OK charter flight from Toronto (a passenger was arrested, upon landing, for disorderly behavior). Quick check-in, then back to the midnight buffet for a drink and much needed food.

Sunday we checked out the resort (everything was where it should be) and found loads of available loungers, in the shade, by Delroys bar. The week went past in a blur of new friends met and made, old friends re-met from the past, fun, games, great times!

Some highlights:

The Body Shot Marathon was a blast totally non-erotic, totally fun, a real dont miss social event.

The PFS had at least thirteen dicks dressed up with nowhere (or is that no wear) to go. What a laugh!

Ryan Anderson, the resident body-painter lady, did a superb piece of art on the other halfs torso. This was a memorable event/experience.

We were loosely associated with one of the groups attending during the first full week of November. We were warmly welcomed and joined in all their group activities. In fact, all the groups were totally intertwined and inclusive. Everyone was encouraged to be part of the themes, activities, fun.

Socially, the week could not have been better a great crowd of really fun people, ages 20 something to 80+. Most everyone was on the nude side.

The room was OK. The shower had loads of HOT water. It was tough to get a cool shower. The A/C spluttered warm, damp air. The engineer explained the problem. Nothing was going to fix it that week. Our room maid was wonderful.

The meals were good to excellent. Scotch Bonnet was uninspired. Pastafari served an excellent meal. The Friday night buffet had excellent lobster, and prime rib (I snagged the actual rib bones delicious).

My only negatives:

The PA system was turned up far too loud at times when guests were meeting/greeting/chatting. I hate having to bellow at new friends!

The entertainment staff did not need to dilute some great guest talent with their insipid skits. The guests produced excellent entertainment for us. Entertainment staff did not need to shout or whistle while our peers are performing. It shows disrespect. In fact, some of the ES need to learn more about respect. Not everyone appreciates them trying to take over guest activities.

Positives:

Great guests, great weather, a wonderful resort, a superb week.

The collection and delivery of education supplies to the local schools was special to everyone who contributed

We left the property at 6:00pm, hours after we had vacated our room. No problem: we grabbed our travel clothes headed to the Spa, had a refreshing shower, after a long day in the sun.

Well be back. Same time next year. Thanks to everyone who made this an unforgettable vacation.
