This was our second Hedo II visit, from July 1st to the 9th.
We felt like old veterans this time! No more worries about getting
naked, we pretty much knew the drill, and where to find everything.
Several of the 2005 group returned, and there were a few new faces as well.
The pool and hot-tub were rocking early in the week.
There were a few issues this time...towels were almost impossible to come by
(both bath and beach), poor Robert kept running out of jerk sauce, ketchup,
french fries, etc. Only later did we find out about his leaving.
He seemed pretty frustrated. And a strange island "bug" got the better
of several folks, including us. Some kind of throat/fever/congestion
issue. It's still hanging on, about 10 days after our return. Mike
was mostly in bed the last two days, though he got the energy up for a few
late water slide runs. There was also this Italian guy, who couldn't
quite grasp the fact that every woman at H2 wasn't there to fulfill his every
sexual urge. Mike played "blocker" for a bunch of our friends, and that
kept him pretty busy for about three days.
We did the nude cruise this trip, and had a ball. Mike dived off the
cliff, and several others jumped. Michelle somehow forgot to snap the
picture, so the event will only live on in our memory, as Mike PROMISES he's
not doing it again!
Our friends from N.C., Ken and Stef were there, joined by another Hedo vet
couple, Lynn and Stuart from England. Lynn was quite the hit in her
naughty nun habit on PJ night. We ate together every evening, and had
Munasan two nights, and Pastafari two nights as well. The food in the
dining room was good, and Charlie's omelettes are still the best!
We tried to be a tad less..."full throttle" this visit, and it worked out very
nicely. Michelle didn't start the Purple Rains until after noon, and had
a water between rounds. We attempted to get to bed about midnight each
night, though we probably cheated that by a few hours several evenings.
Rave reviews to the bartenders, the entertainment crew, Charlie, Gus (for
beach humor) and the man who's name escapes me (he takes care of the grounds
on the nude side) though he never fails to educate and bless us each time we
visit.
Special thanks to Ken, Stef, Lynn and Stuart (St. Wart). You made our
trip. Just be careful when you have to drop the kids off, Lynn!
We can't wait to return for July 4th week in 2007!
