Hedo II

01/21-01/29

We were @ HII during Lifestyles Week 3.

We met a fabulous group of people, ERA, prior to going.  A suggestion, make sure you join a yahoo group or email lots of people with your pictures & a brief FYI before you go.  It sure makes a difference & its a great opportunity to make friends with similar interests from all over the world.  We really appreciated all the group activities organized by ERA.

Must Dos:

Tim Air

Rhino Safari Tour (make sure to book early in your trip because it gets cancelled often depending on the wind)

Nude Booze Catamaran Cruise

Rick Caf

Pastafaris restaurant

Parasailing

Hobbie Cats

Canopy Tour

Rent Quads (ATV)

Friday night 7:30 grand gala Lobster night

Walk the beach past Sandals & shop the beach vendors

Naked midnight water slide runs

Sit in the hidden hot tub on the prude side

Piano Bar (who could forget Piece by Piece)

Paint a rock, play volleyball, naked twister, wet t-shirt contest- participate in the daily activities & theme nights

Tip the maid ($5-Daily extra towels & a towel animal on the bed w/flowers)

Slow down, be patient & appreciative, Say Thanks/Please, remember Soon Come

Would Skip:

Jet ski rental (too expensive, too short of a ride & too many rules)

Shopping Shuttle (you can find everything you need @ the gift shops & from the beach vendors off resort)

The hotel bus transfer from MoBay to Negril (Buck up for Tim Air, you wont regret it)

Art Auction night (what a buzz kill, reserve a place in one of the restaurants that night)

Hottub rooms (not worth the $ you isolate yourself from the crowd, besides the 6 or so that fit in the tub)

Every adult vacation we take, my husband & I fall in love with each other all over again.  We love the atmosphere & the energy that comes from Hedo.  We were celebrating our 5 year anniversary this trip & my loving husband surprised me with a planned wedding renewal on the beach.  What a terrific event!  He packed my vail, a white dress, seriously upgrade my rock in my wedding ring (supposedly in to be sized), flowers, cake, champagne & some wonderful friends.  Something I will never forget.

Some people complain about the food, the age of the resort, bugs, the lack of hot water & more.  We have NO complaints.  We love Hedo for what it is, not for what if offers.

Lastly Thank you to all the people we met & shared our vacation with.  Keep in touch & hope to see you all next year.
