Bill & Nancy - January, 2006

Okay...before I forget I HAVE to write this trip report.
Bill and I had been to Jamaica three previous times, two of those trips were to Hedo 3.
This year we decided to do something the same/yet different and go to Hedo 2.  We heard the usual...bad food, old rooms, wilder people.  What we found was paradise!
We left Chicago at 5:30 in the morning, had a two hour stop over in Atlanta.  We tried to sleep on the plane, but I believe NOBODY can really sleep on a plane.  We arrived exhausted, but excited at Montego Bay at 1:30.  We were surprised at how much work had been done on the airport since we were there a year ago.  Customs was very fast..constantly moving.  We were impressed.  We barely had time to drink a few sips of water at the Super Clubs Lounge and we were loading onto a shuttle to take us to heaven.
We arrived at Hedo 2 at about  about  4:00 p.m. and were quickly checked in and taken to our rooms,  with complimentary Mimosa's in hand.
We were room 1247 Prude garden view.  That didn't cause any problem for us, we walked to and from the nude beach, our entire stay in various states of undress, including totally nude.  The grounds were beautiful...our room was beautiful...our view was beautiful.  The bathroom was a little small and we didn't have much hot water, but we may have been partly to blame , we always took our shower before dinner when I believe everyone else in the resort was doing the same thing.  It wasn't ice cold, just luke warm.  Good to wake a person up before the evening fun.
Our room was very near the "deep wet hole" and the hidden hot tub, and we had fun finding these and taking pictures.
We were a little disorientated at first and had some trouble finding the nude beach.  This resort is alot larger than Hedo 3!   BUT...being troopers, we finally found it.
The beach at Hedo 2 is fantastic!  Warm white sand, beautiful lush foliage and our own little reef!  We had so much fun walking out to the rocks at the end of the beach, watching the crabs and all the fish.  We saw clown fish, gar,  starfish, blowfish, a baby ray and even black urchins and a sea snake (which of course, we stayed far away from)!  I even fed the schools of fish bread from my hand.
The nude pool was lots of fun.  The bartenders there were sweet.  They tended to ignore the guys, so to get a drink we ladies were always told to put our boobs on the bar...low and behold, we got our drinks and FAST!  LOL  It must be difficult for single guys!!???
The hot tub was closed until about 4:30 or so everyday for maintenance and that was a GOOD thing.  The hot tub got lots and lots of use from that time until about 8:00 p.m. when it was closed again til 10:00 p.m. for more maintenance.  We were there late a few nights and the pool of yuck in the middle was a little disconcerting.
The PDA's...wow!  WAAAY better than the playboy channel and right in front of our eyes!  We are proud to say that we added to the situation quite a few times!  It was FUN!!!!  We didn't have any trouble with Walley's or Vinnies...they were around, but we didn't really care.  They didn't intrude, just sat quietly and watched, while pretending not to.
One of our favorite things to do was to take out a catamaran in the afternoons and have fun in the middle of the ocean!  Our last day the glass bottom boat from Sandals followed us for quite a while to give their customers a free show!  Oh boy!
One of the greatest highlights of our trip was the 4:00 show.  Wow!  The couple knows who they are and we wish to give them great thanks for all the exhibitionist fun!  Talk about skill and stamina.....no handed....one legged.....and the last performance, well over 50 minutes long!  A big hurrah to you guys!  You ROCK!!!!
Bill and I had so much fun dressing up.  Naughty School Girl night, Toga night, Pajama night.  It was great.
The food was okay, most nights.  A little better than an Old Country Buffet, in my opinion.  Except for Friday Gala.  The grilled lobster was fantastic, the desserts were yummy and the martini bar...WOW!  I had a chocolate/mint martini that was to die for!
Bill and I had two dinners at Pastafari's and we loved the sirloin steak and the antipasta bar and the french champagne.  We tried Munsan once and weren't thrilled with the food.  Many loved it, so its a matter of opinion.
We tried the disco a few nights and it was okay.  Most nights I was not able to get Bill to leave, however, on our last night...pj night....I couldn't get him to leave.  He was wearing a costume that made him resemble John Holmes....He was having SOOO much fun I couldn't get him to leave.  We were the last ones there.  One extremely fun night was spent with our ERA group.  We all got naked and did a line dance through the disco, followed by nude water sliding, followed by socializing in the hot tub!  Wow....it was a fun time we'll never forget!!!
Of course...as everyone has said over and over....its the people that make Hedo 2 so great.   And its absolutely true!  We met so many great people before (on posting boards) and during our stay.  Friendly is an understatement!  Everyone we met was wonderful.  We certainly do not want to leave out anybody, which well definately happen if we try to highlight all our new friends, but you know who you are and we LOVED meeting you all and are absolutely looking forward to seeing you all same time next year.  The only regret, we had was that we arrived on a Wednesday and left on a Wednesday.  This meant had groups of friends that had to leave in the middle of our stay.  It was rather sad.  However, maybe it was a good thing, because we got to meet and socialize with two different groups of friends!
Love to you all,
Nancy and Bill
