HEDONISM 2
1.  The remodeled rooms are the big news
   - Bath has been entirely redone.  
       --Tub is out  = replaced with 5 headed shower for 2 (?)
       -- Decor is white tiles with gray accent.
       --  Sinks replaced. New light fixture.
   - Main room has dark gray accent on bed headboard and around mirror.
       -- New curtains and bed spread.  Flowery
       -- Overhead light replaced
       -- Window seat remains.
   - Rooms being done approx. 30 at a time.
       -- 2166 to 2180 complete
       -- Rooms 21?? on top level near spa in progress - about week to go
       -- "H" block next
   - ALL rooms to completed by Halloween per Richard Bourke

2.  All rooms have TV mounted on wall in corner near window. Playboy channel included.
3.  Some rooms have new or rebuilt doors.  Similar to old doors but stained dark rather than painted black.  Look nice.
4.  No "Duty-Free" store.  Owner died in December.
5.  "Dave, the Pianist" left the Pub. Replacement to be found. Entertainment filling in. So-so.
6.  Chiropractor is available in Spa on a schedule in conjunction with GLN.
7.  Food quality is significantly improved.    
8. Public bathrooms in main building completely redone. Nice.  Entirely new bathroom near hot tub.
9.  Aviary removed.  Replaced with nice garden
10.  Water slide being used significantly more. C/O most of the time, day and night.
11. New mini golf course between pub and nurses station.
12.  No Smoking area in main restaurant.
13. Refrigerator rental available at $5 per day

ROAD TO NEGRIL
-Some pipeline construction near Hopewell-Sandy Bay.  Only minor delay. Temporary bridge east of Lucea  single lane but not a delay.
- Road from traffic circle (Duke of Glouchester St)  in MBJ open with 4 lanes to Hopewell.  Several working traffic lights. Major improvement.

AIRPORT
-Major construction on new gate area has bus departure area congested but little impact on traffic.

ROAD TO BRACO
Work underway on several sections, mostly east of Salt Marsh.
New road completed and open from east of Falmouth almost to Duncans, and east of Duncans to near Braco. Some segments are temporary pavement.  Little impact on timing.

GRAND LIDO BRACO:
1. Nude rooms completely sold out. Prude about half full.
2.  Food still high quality. Piacere and Muna-San both top notch
3.  Entertainment visible on c/o side
4.  Lunch buffet every day at nude bar, in addition to room service restaurant.
5.  "Fantasy" party in c/o club house.  DJ and some dancing.  Seems to be popular.
6.  Toga night in disco was dead.
7.  Chiropractor available in Spa.
8.  New tour to swim with dolphins.  Also handouts on the resort given to all.
9. Hot tub deck has been completely redone.  Slippery when wet!!!
10. Cuban string trio plays at breakfast and some evenings.   

AIRPORT DUTY FREE
Tia Maria $12 per liter.
Coffee High Mountain beans in bags at $8 for 12 oz. Blue Mountain beach $14 for 12 oz. Larger bags (approx. 5 LB) available.
