Saturday 032004
We arrive in Montego Bay at 1:35 PM. Quickly get off the plane and through Customs. We are then rushed to our bus for Hedo. On the bus ride to hedo we meet a very nice couple from Minnesota. This was their second trip to Hedo. They gave us some information about Hedo, but hot much. They said they did not want to spoil the suprise, since this was our first trip to Hedo. Chad almost got sick on the bus, since he had to sit in the he way back with all of the luggage. He met two people Paul and Denise. Paul was returning to Hedo and Denise was a newbie like us. We arrive at Hedo at 3:15 PM. Get checked in and set off to our room with little direction. Since we have never been before we got lost just trying to find our room. A nice man asked if he could help us. He showed us to our room. He also hit us up for THC. When we got to our room I realized that we were on the nude side and not the prude side. While in our room I told Chad I think we may have made a mistake coming to this place. I wanted to get back on a bus and take the next plane back home. Chad was more willing to give it a chance. We were very hungry, so we set out to find some food. Some where we took a wrong turn and ended up on the nude beach. Wow did we feel out of place. Soon we found our way to the prude beach. We got some food at the grill. While we were there we ran into Paul and Denise and hung out with them. Paul was giving us the lowdown on Hedo. Then another gentleman came down and started talking to Paul. Paul introduced us to Mike (upsman). He could tell we were nubies. Mike volunteered to show us the ropes of Hedo since he had been coming there for 16 years. Mike showed us around a little before supper. We freshened up before supper. We ate supper and then took a nice walk on the beach before calling it a night.
Sunday 032104
We woke up at 9:30 AM and went to breakfast still feeling a little uneasy about being at Hedo. Met with our little group ( Mike, Paul and Denise ) for breakfast. After breakfast headed to the prude beach for a little sun and a dip in the ocean. After lunch we decided to take a little nap since we were still tired. After the nap we hi the prude beach again. There we met up with Paul, Denise and Upsman. We all went up to do the water slide. Did the water slide about 15 times. We are now starting to feel a little more relaxed with what happens at Hedo. Thanks to Mike and Paul the whole gang met for supper. After supper we went to the disco for a little dancing. While dancing in the disco Denise tried to get me to go down the water slide nude. After a little coaxing I did go down the water slide nude. We also decided to check out the nude hot tub. Not much was going on so we decided to call it a night.
Monday 032204
We wake up at 9:30 AM and went to breakfast. Same food. different day. Really started to get in to the Hedo mood. Hung out on the prude beach all day taking in the sun. In the late afternoon did the waterslide thing again. Ran into a couple from Rhode Island that we briefly met on Sunday. They asked us to go to Margaritaville with them. We agreed to meet at 9:30 PM and get and go. We got a cab and headed outside our hotel. We got to our destination and told the cab driver to pick us up at 1:30 AM. After we order some drinks the bartender decides to close the bar at 11:30 PM. So here we are stranded. They kicked us out of the bar at midnight. We walked to the nearest hotel and tipped the Security guy and asked him to call Hedo for us and get our cabdriver to come and get us. After arriving back we decided to call it a night. We had enough excitement for one night.
Tuesday 032304
We woke up at our usual 9:30 AM time and went to breakfast. Today would be a different day though. We were going to venture to the nude beach. I could not believe what we were doing, but it now just seemed natural. Hung out on the nude beach where I got my hair braided. After lunch we decided to go jet skiing. We went with the couple from Rhode Island and had a wonderful time. After supper I got picked to play battle of the sexes. I exchanged clothes with a total stranger but had a good time doing it. I felt right at home. Total change from the first day we arrived at Hedo. After the battle of the sexes we went and put on PJ's for the pajama party in the disco. Chad wore boxers and I wore my VS tank top and short shorts, but was I overdressed. We had fun in the disco though. We were meeting new people all the time. Our small group was staring to grow bigger and bigger.
Wednesday 032404
We woke up at 9:00 AM and went to breakfast. By now breakfast is getting really old but who cares because we are having the time of our lives. Spent the morning basking in the sun on the prude beach. After lunch we took a trip in to town for a little shopping. Had to get something to bring back home. What an experience that was. We had a great cabdriver named Reed. He gave us some good tips on negotiating prices. When we returned from the shopping trip we hit the waterslide and then the beach. We met even more people on the beach. Our group seems to get larger and larger by day. We all get along well though. It is nice to all get together for supper. After supper we paid a visit to the disco. There I danced the night away with Mikey. We tried to teach Chad to dance but that did not work so well. He would end up talking to Paul from North Dakota instead. Denise would later join us since it would be her last night at Hedo. I had a blast dancing. We would stay out way late.
Thursday 032504
Woke up to a knock on the door. It was Denise saying that she needed to use our room to put her carry on luggage in. We quickly got ready and met her for breakfast. For the first time I started to think about our vacation coming to and end. I started to feel sad. We would be loosing one person from our group. That was soon set aside when we went to the beach. Today we would take in as much sun as possible since Friday would be our last full day in Hedo. I went snorkeling for the first time. It was wonderful, you can see so much snorkeling. Chad also gave it a try and loved it. Hung out all day at the beach. Went to supper and felt a bit out of place because everyone was already wearing their toga's. After supper Chad and I went back to our room and tried to tie togas and after a few minutes of struggling we finally got it. We highly recommend taking the toga tying class in the afternoon since we did not and were clueless. Went to the disco and had a wonderful time. This would also be a late night for us. We talked Chad into going down the waterslide nude. This was his first time and he love it. After a few times down the water slide we decided to hit the nude hot tub with Paul and Jill.
Friday 032604
We woke up at 7:30 AM way early. We needed to get up early to say our good bye's to almost all of the wonderful people we met in Hedo. Right away I knew this day would be a sad day. We would have to say good bye to people who have changed our lives. We would to to breakfast and say our first good bye. The first one to go was Paul. I never thought saying good bye would be so hard. We then went to the beach with Jill and Anna. We sat on the beach and had a wonderful conversation. Soon it was time to say good bye to two more people from our group, Mikey and Mike jr. This one was the hard one. Saying good bye to Mikey was the hardest. I even got teared up. It was Mikey who took us under his wing and taught us all we know about Hedo. What a great guy. We would have lunch with Paul, Jill, Mike and Anna. Just a few people that were left. After lunch it began to rain. So we decided to go back to our room to see if we had our eviction notice. We sure did, we would be leaving Hedo Saturday morning on the 10:00 AM bus. By now Chad and I were both feeling sad. We would spend all afternoon getting things packed up and recapping the week. We could not believe how much our lives were changed by Hedo and the wonderful people that we met. Went to supper and to bed early since it was raining.
Saturday 032704
Departure day. We would say good bye to Mike, Anna, Paul and Jill. Good bye Hedo we will be back next year.
