Bill & Cindy - June, 2004
This was our rookie trip. So
glad we made the choice we did. The message board at Denny P's provided us
with great information.
Our Air Jamaica flight out of
Orlando on Saturday was canceled due to mechanical problems. This worked out
great. We left at 8:30 am on Sunday and were at the resort by 11:00 am. Hedo
changed our reservations for an extra day and Air Jamaica changed our return
flight at no charge. If we had went on our scheduled flight we would have not
been at the resort until around 7:00 pm.
We had reserved an overview
prude smoking room. None were available so we were upgraded to nude garden
view. This was great. We really wanted to be on the nude side anyway, but at
the time we booked it was quite a bit more expensive.
By noon on Sunday we were on
the nude beach enjoying the day. Cindy got a massage at the massage hut on the
beach and I laid out and watched all the people. Something about being naked
just makes everyone more friendly. We have been to many different resorts and
hotels and no one is ever as friendly as all the people at hedo. I don't think
we ever passed a single person who didn't at least say hello.
We took it kind of easy Sunday
night. Just recuperated from the days trip.
We pretty much spent each day
on the beach. Went on a couple of snorkel trips and took one trip into town to
shop and get tea and brownies. The tea was very good but the brownies didn't
seem to do much. We purchased them from Mrs. Browns. One of the employees gave
us a ride and showed us around.
It rained each day around noon
to 1:00 pm. This was also good because it cooled things down and I was ready
to get out of the sun for a little while by then anyway.
We both thought the food was
good at both the main dining hall and the restaurants. The food at Roberts was
great as expected. That is the best jerk chicken I have ever tasted.
There were lots of PDA's. Just
about any time after noon at the nude pool/hot tub you would see someone
having sex and after it got dark the nude hot tub really cranked. We enjoyed
ourselves several evenings at the hot tub.
Just want to give another big
thanks out to all the people on the message board. You all helped us prepare
for our trip and we can't than you enough. We will be returning. Just eleven
months and two weeks from now.
