Mav & Myr - February, 2003

Chili Pepper Tour

The Chili Pepper Tour is made up of a group of couples from across the US. Some, over the last few years, have traveled to Hedo the first week of Feb. Some have gone home to Jamaica at other various times. Still for others, it was the virgin trip to Hedo. Most of us met through the Denny P site first, and eventually all ended up meeting in a private yahoo group started by one of our own (Thanks, D & D, for maintaining our communication site!) We started the impromptu group, enjoyed chats on Sunday eves for a couple of months, found a group mascot. . . Thanks Tammy, your new chili pepper tattoo upon your lovely behind was our inspiration, and we became The Hedo Chili Peppers. All jumped on board, and by the time we were in Jamaica, we had temporary tattoos, matching tanks, and of course our caps- thanks to the talents of various individuals in the group. We intended to party hard and leave a legacy at Hedo. . .

The first Peppers arrived Wed. Jan. 29th, and the rest started trickling in Fri. Jan 31st. By the end of the week many were saying who are these Chili Peppers?; Man, are they a fun group; and The Chili Peppers are in the house! Needless to say, we feel we lived up to our pretrip expectations!

Following is a glimpse of highlights and memorable events of the trip, as memories are slowly being restored (by hypnosis?)! As the official scribes of the Chili Peppers, were chronicling events that come to mind. As hard-partying as our group is, there are probably many more hijinx and events that have been omitted or may remain forever unknown :)

The Flights: It sounds like all reported reasonably efficient and non-eventful trips to Jamaica, except weary red-eye flight folks who needed extra hours to recover before hitting Hedo stride. Most took the bus ride and reported smooth travel.

Check-In: 3 couples, Gregg & Sue, Duane & Tammy, and Mav & Myr, arrived Fri at 2pm and had to wait 3 hours for rooms. No problem waiting, but 2 couples got single beds in their rooms, . . .that would NEVER work. A couple more hours for room shuffle found them happily in H-Block, and as they say in Jamaica, No Problem, Mon. . . soon come.

Arrival Day: Once checked in, we went to the Prude Grill for a cheeseburger while we awaited room prep. We met John and Mindy who had just found out that morning that they were going to H2 on supersurprise (lucky!). We were surprised they got Hedo for 40% of what everyone else paid (lucky!). Apparently the resort was not as full as last year for the 1st week of Feb. After we got rooms, all stripped down and explored the nude beach looking for early arrivals Brian and Anne, and Amos and Terry. It was the last day of Lifestyles month, so we did manage to observe some action going on by the hot tub. It seemed to remind us that we were back home at Hedo once again. Now after the last 2 years, weve learned that on travel day it is wise to get a good nights sleep, so we went to the dining hall circus show, then decided to get to bed. We fell asleep to the sound of the tree frogs chorus outside our window.

Saturday: We awoke to a beautiful morning and balmy warm temps. Several Peppers staked out chairs under the palm trees on the point/jetty, where we ended up staying the first few days to develop our tans in the bright sun. Dan & Dee arrived followed by Larry & Krissy. Ally sin and Ron joined the fun as well. Bubba our 12 inch mascot showed up and greeted many a glass-bottom boat gawker from Sandals. That afternoon EC (entertainment coordinator) RayRay came over to demonstrate his prowess at deep-throating a banana. Inspired as we were, the Pepper ladies had a Bubba-swallowing contest . . . . Mr. Sharpie marked the depth results of each contestant . . . go Myr! Sat. night most of the group went to Pastafaris and enjoyed a fine meal. Later on we went to the Disco for a while, then to the late night hot tub.

Sunday: Highlights include the beach sunning routine, workout for some at the well-equipped air-conditioned gym, or a beach walk toward Negril. Vince & Linda arrived, and Roger & Nancy as well. We found out about the Shuttle tragedy that day-how sad! That night we experienced Munahana...EXCELLENT! The music on the main stage was great, so all the Pepper ladies went down and closed the evening music show with musical chair lap dances for all the Pepper guys. The men started to repay the favor for the ladies, but the music stopped. . . oh darn! Krissy brought down the house at the Karaoke bar when she performed Material Girl with a full contingent of backup singers. Off again to the disco, the hot tub, and to bed.

Monday: Today began the great Pepper migration into the shade. Randy & Michelle arrived. Several Pepper fellas did find your mate and passed with flying colors. The wet T-shirt contest was next; Sierra, Shenequa, and Fantasy wowed the spectators with exotic and erotic moves. Sierra and Fantasy gave BJs (the sippin kind) while Shenequa got a surp-lickin by the Pepper men. After a few trips down the water slide (what fun!) all returned to the nude beach and resumed the laughter and non-stop partying. Several rock-placing procedures were performed, placing stick-on sequins on the fellas appendages. . . you wouldnt believe where them things showed up the rest of the week! Sue & Allison ARE the procedure queens! : )

Tuesday: Many of the Chili Pepper group took the cat cruise to the Pickled Parrot. Some snorkeled and a few of the crazies jumped off the cliff. . . Ron, Allison, Larry & Vince. Crazy Dan jumped from the cliff with a bottle of beer in hand. . . what dedication! Woulda made a great commercial for Corona. Pepper ladies took turns riding in the forward splash net on the way back- an interesting sensation against the lower regions of the body. Rasta Ralphie was in fine form and some participated in the limbo contest. Keith & Kathi, as well as Gary & Becky arrived today. That night all wore their finest slutwear...guys included, and enjoyed lobster as well as participated in Battle of the Sexes contest. The PJ party in the disco was an absolute hit with Chili Peppers winning many categories. Krissy, Sue, Linda, Keith in cow g-string, Gary & Becky. . . hot, hot hot! Music that night was excellent-70s & 80s rather than all techno music.

Wednesday: Keith & Kathy, and Bob and Laura arrived. We were starting to feel the effects of non-stop partying and had a bit calmer day, with the standard beach routine. Some took the sunset cruise to Ricks Cafe. . . Michelle & Becky jumped off the cliff. . . are you ladies still sore? : ) At happy hour, a care package was revealed by Gregg & Sue, which had been sent by Tom & LeeAnne (who attended last year but couldnt be there with us this year). It contained toys, goodies, Twizzlers, a nice boa (from a personal collection no doubt), and extremely large insulated mugs which were put to use immediately as we toasted the senders. Thanks T & L! Since we had enjoyed Munihana so much on Sunday, we decided to go again. . . but this time with a twist . . . the Pepper ladies went topless! Poor chef Patrick had a hard time keeping his mind on cooking. PM Tammy was in fine form (after her 7-up shot). The resort was quiet, so Peppers formed a conga line to the Piano Bar where Ron sang a love song; and Shenequa, T, and Fantasy did a triple-header strip on the piano to Piece-by-Piece.

Thursday: Bob Marleys birthday found some Peppers rafting the morning away. During afternoon nap time, Gregg got his beautiful toenails painted by an EC. . . lovely! It was only a matter of a few hours before he noticed. During the toenail painting session on the beach, the Men in Motion activity was taking place in the main dining hall. Mav, Duane & Ron put on a great show dancing for the ladies. Ron won and received a chocolate syrup lick-down. Thanks Linda, for helping him take it ALL off. . . oops! (nice skirt, Ron!) Happy hour brought the cameras out for a Chili Pepper group photo session at the grotto and the hot tub. John & Mindy were finally able to join us on the nude side. . . see it wasnt so scary, was it? : ) The Peppers played very competitive volleyball during the week and today was no exception. Larry, Vince, Dan, you guys Rock on the Court!!! While most prepared for Toga Night, a few of the Pepper ladies reserved several large dining room tables and decorated them in true Chili Pepper fashion. After dinner, Krissy WAS Madonna for Duanes fantasy by singing Like a Virgin for him, while other Pepper ladies sang and danced in the background. . . Madonna aint got nothin over on you, Krissy! A group skit was prepared at the dining table (poor RayRay will just have to trust us to get it done), and performed for the talent show. Linda was the innocent school girl Goldilocks looking for the perfect Penis. Tennessee Taaaammmmy narrated as only she can, and the Pepper fellas lined up on stage for inspection. . . This one is JUST right! was heard as Bubba, our 12 mascot was brought into view from under the last Pepper fellas toga. After the traditional toga conga line, Dan took 1st with his purple toga creation. Toga un-tying was a major challenge for Sue - how did you do that, Sue?- followed by a series of after-toga waterslide runs by the group.

Friday & Saturday: We started the sad exodus of the Chili Peppers back home. Rumor has it that fun and games on the beach included shaving cream....hmmmmmm. Proper send-off was made from Moon Hill several times, as the fun week drew to a close. A group rock was painted and set in a place of honor awaiting the return of the Chili Pepper Tour.

All in all a fantastic week was had by everyone. It just goes to prove.. . Hedo is all about the people youre with. Its great to see that people from across the country can get together and create such a fun bond!

Highlights

ECs: Marcia, Buffy, Ashley and Roxy were fabulous. They frequently recruited the Chili Peppers to participate in the activities. By the end of the week, they were playing our games!; Getting 2 (yes 2) warnings by security for being too loud. . . excuse me, is it possible to get kicked out of Hedo?. . . too loud at 11pm on PJ night, in H-block?!?; Jerk-o-clock. . . too good to miss. Munahana. . . everybody loved the great food and great chefs; the waterslide is always a blast; and finally, the weather. . . it just doesnt get any better!

Lowlights

Hot tub temps were very uneven, one night too cold to be in. Sporadic towel shortage. Leaky A/C units in room.

Infamous Chili Pepper Quotations of the Week:

Bald-haired man; hey, whats with the Lucy & Ricky beds?; Focus!; Honey, do you have the keys?!?, Wheres Ron?; Wheres Allison?; Can you say Penis?; These shots are stronger than the ones back home!; The Chili Peppers are in the house!; Why are my toenails painted?; Bring on the Misery! (psycho-whacker - the sole fetish soul noticed); Keep that thing (pocket rocket) away from me. . . mmmmm that feels good!; Lets go to MoonyHonny again!; This one is JUST right!; Roberts eyes and great fries-Yont Sum?; The Procedure; The Baron <father of the sextuplets. . .however many there were!>; Coors Light Twins; and the shy little waitress who just cuddnt figger out hillbilly talk!
