29 Sept to 13 October

Coming from the UK we knew that it was going to be a long trip, but add on a 4 hour flight delay and it turns into a 24 hour trip, and it doesnt make it any easier when theres a deportee on the plane screaming to be let off.

Once we arrived it was great, although coming out of the airport and over taking a fire engine with its lights flashing doesnt do anything to help your nerves when it comes to Jamaican driving. Another down side to Jamaican driving would be that it is unhealthy to overtake someones car when going up a hill on a blind corner.

If you arrive at night I wouldnt advise trying to look around as theres not much chance of finding anything if youre a virgin as we were. However going down the waterslide on your first night as its the only thing you can find is a definite bonus.

When you sit down to a meal anywhere, watch out for the staff because they seem to come out of nowhere to refill your glass and if youre not used to it then you have the surprise of your life. So just watch out. Please and thank you do go a long way here as the staff that work there work extremely hard for very little pay.

Being rather a shy and retiring person at home going down to the nude pool was something that I didnt expect to be comfortable with, so I took the plunge and went down there. In daylight hours nobody cares, but when the sun goes down anything goes.

I cant forget to mention Charlie and his omlettes, Roberts jerked chicken, the lobster, the tuna, Pastafari. The food is just so good.

When it comes to entertainment all that can be said is to experience it, and if youre a virgin go find Ashley and ask her to sing Tina Turners Simply the Best, then go find Lawrence and ask him to sing a Shaggy song. Wow doesnt come close. Watch out for Rose when she starts dancing.

Another star moment in this trip was when Darryl decided to get up on the stage and sing, I dont think anyone expected him to be able to sing like Louis Armstrong but wow what an experience. Heres to you Darryl and hoping you are now taking them singing lessons you have a real future in our eyes.

The only let down to the holiday was when some of the lifestylers came in and some of them were a bit funny towards me and didnt want to take no for an answer. Apart from that everybody else was ok with a no.

Hi to Mark, Carolyn, Chuck, Liliane,  Daryl, Boston Mike and Boston Patti. Have you managed to come any closer to the 2 million mark Daryl? Carolyn, you forgot Whos nicked mi fags?. Ok saying this in front of Americans may not be the wisest thing to say hehehehe. There were a great many people who we met at hedo and to be honest it would be impossible to remember everyones names but Both Viky and I would like to give a big thank you to all those people named and unnamed that we met there you all truly made this trip worthwhile for us both.

At home walking round with the Hedo t-shirt that you cant not come home with, people do double-takes, and then ask what its like there, u shrug and say if we told you you wouldnt believe us.

If anyone new is going to hedo please feel free to email us if you have any questions and we will try to help answer them as best we can.
