Larry & Wendy - September, 2003

We booked our 4th trip to Hedo in July after our friends, Sean and Kelly whom we met at Hedo in September 2000 and have been vacationing with ever since, beat us and twisted our arms until we finally booked and asked off work.  We had such a bad experience with the resort in September 2001, our last trip, with all the construction and jack hammering waking us up at 6 am every morning.  So we decided to go and check out all the new amenities.

After continuously monitoring hurricane Isabel we finally arrived at Hedo to hear the glorious "Welcome Home".  Ahhh how we missed this place, the people and the ambiance.

I won't go into the detailed day to day activities as they pretty much ran together.  Too many Purple MFs and Vodka slushes.

We found the resort to be beautiful.  Some our favorite new additions were:

1)  Waterslide - we absolutely loved the waterslide.  Didn't have a problem going down it naked.  At times everyone in line were naked and nothing was said to us about wearing suits.  It was very fast especially at night.

2)  Cabanas - there was nothing like lying in the cabanas at night listening to the tree frogs and surf.  One night we fell asleep and slept for three hours (again too many purple MFs).  We finally awoke when people started going down the waterslide screaming.

3)  Small pools (prude side) - instead of heading over the nude side at night to get in the hot tub our group just went over these pools and hung out especially after many trips down the slide.  This is usually were we ended up at night.

4)  Spa - it was absolutely gorgeous.  I had and Indian head, neck and shoulder massage.  This was good but wished I would have seen the special they had going $75 for Swedish massage and exfoliation scrub.  Oh well next time.  The only improvements I made on my comment card about the spa is that they provide terry robs for you to wear while having your treatment.  Not because I wanted to cover up but just to relax in especially after the shower.  Brrrr!  there is no problem with the air conditioners in the bathrooms at the spa.  It was very nipplely.  Had to go to the sauna after my shower to get warmed up.  Also had a pedicure.  Don't waste your money!!  All they basically did was file my toe nails and paint them and then one step into the hot tub and there went the polish.

5)  Private hot tubs - we stayed on the prude side this year since it was run of the house sort of deal (cheaper) and we run up upon a private hot tub.  Wow, how romantic until Larry falls face first after too many purple MFs.  : )  The one we found was across from our room 1225 in the garden.  It was hard to see.  It is surrounded by banana trees with just enough space in the top to gaze out into the stars.  Excellent addition!!  Didn't find anymore although we heard there were more.

6)  New ski type boat - we were able to try out the new ski boat on two occasions.  One day the guys at the watersports shack took us to Margaritaville and one day to Bloody Bay for lobster from the locals.  Special thanks to Captain Monk and the whole watersports crew.

It's so hard to think of everything but we'll name some of the highlights of the trip.

By the time we arrived on Monday around 1:30 we hurried down to the nude pool to greet our friends who came in Saturday and within a matter of minutes we knew everyone in the pool.  The resort was only about 50% booked but this allowed us to talk to everyone.  We met some many new friends and old friends.  We discovered a new drink, thanks to Debbie from Texas, called a TTL.  Delroy and Scumba didn't know what this was since it was made up while she was there.  It consisted of Tangerae (? spell) Gin, Ting and Lime.  I had so many that I had to do a drunk check.  When I got out of the pool to go to the bathroom it hit me.  Yep! I was drunk.  About that time Ray Ray came down and started the nude fashion show.  Okay, how can I make this interesting.  I went over, picked a flower and stuck it in my pussy.  It was a hit but still didn't beat the infamous Kelly with her 6 foot floating dick ride.

Tuesday morning we did the deep 9:30 dive.  As usual the dive staff were great.  These guys go way out of their way to make sure everything Irie.  We saw a 60 foot sunken tug boat this morning.  It was a bit of a swim to get to it but it was well worth it.

Most of our days consisted of hanging out by the pool and seeing how many vodka slushes and purple MFs we could drink and still make it to the bathroom.  Hey! At least we didn't pee in the pool ; )

Tuesday night we celebrated Sean's birthday.  The dining staff did an excellent job of decorating and making Sean feel special for his birthday.  The lobster Creole was great this night.  Also was PJ night.  Kelly and I dressed as naughty nurses and Sean was our bad patient ; )  We won first place in the funky category.  I really enjoyed checking the men's heart beat with my stethoscope.  Hey!  Nobody told me you couldn't hear the heart beat below the waist ; )  Larry dressed as a naughty biker with his leather vest and chaps minus anything under the chaps.  He looked very good even though he didn't win anything.  But I gave him my own private little prize later that night.  Screw the rum, mine was better! : )

Wednesday after our dive we did body painting.  Larry really enjoyed painting the ladies.  We all ended up with fire pussys......lol

Wednesday night was the god awful art auction.  Okay why haven't they gotten ride of this already.  Last time we were there it was outside behind the main stage and you didn't have to put up with it unless you wanted to go, what happened?  We couldn't bear it so we took a cab to Margaritaville.

Thursday was spa day.  After snorkeling Sheryl and I went to the spa.  Like I said above the Indian Head massage great but left me wanting more and the pedicure just consisted of painting my toenails.  I took a bottle of champagne for Sheryl and I to enjoy think we would get a head start on the guys but no way.  When we got back to the nude pool bar Scumba had about 30 cups lined up filling them with purple MFs.  Larry had everyone in the pool drinking them or at least making him think they were drinking them (yes I saw that Sean and Andy...lol).  After several rounds of them we moseyed over the hot tub and tried to get in but it was too hot and all week it had too many chemicals or the PH wasn't right because every time we got in we itched all over and Kelly broke out into these red bumps and a pharmacist there told her it was chlorine poisoning Yikes!!  My mom said she was going to call us this night but we didn't make it to the room, we honestly tried mom but it just seemed like the prude side rooms had moved further down the beach.  We should of just had the operator transfer her to Delroy's bar.  We didn't do toga this time but went to the Japanese restaurant instead.  The sushi was excellent but didn't like anything else.  The rice tasted like it had been cooked a while and set out.  It tasted really pasty.  I guess you shouldn't expect real Japanese in Jamaica.

Friday our last day : ( we tried to pack in as much activity and partying we could possibly do.  We first went diving and then after diving the watersports guys took us to bloody bay for some lobster.  The beach over there is just beautiful.  Huge sting rays would swim right up to you.  Oh!  I didn't mention that this was not a nude beach but we made it our nude beach.  We stayed over there for about two hours and just enjoyed the sandy beach, reggae music and the lobster.  After bloody bay it was back to the nude pool.  It rained a little this day and we tried to brave the hot tub again.  We just decided to tough it out itching and all.  The drinks did seem to numb the itch a little though.  While in the hot tub we met up with Randy and Susan who invited us on a private sunset cruise.  The cruise left at 3:30 and it was actually cheaper booking a private cruise rather than going on a scheduled one.  We really enjoyed it.  We hadn't been on a cat cruise since our first trip and never seen a sunset from a cat cruise.  We went to Pickled Parrot swan through the caves and then to Rick's for some cliff jumping.  Wow, Terrie you are still my hero even though you were black and blue the next day from all that diving.  We had so much fun teasing the other cat cruises for wearing clothes.  It just ceases to amaze me how some people have never seen a naked person before.  I'm sure we'll be in many people's scrap books.  Larry also made it an exciting cruise by pulling out the Good Head.  After the cruise was dinner/beach party night.  The steel drum band they had that night was awesome.  The food sucked this night.  Every night if there was something we didn't like we could always find something to fill us up but not this night.  It was either braised ox tail or some unknown meat they were carving up.  I stuck to cheese and crackers.  After dinner Larry started in the purple MFs again and boy were they catching up with him especially after nothing to eat.  At the beach party they had oil wrestling which was new.  It basically was four girls making out with some oil on them.  It got boring after a while.  After oil wrestling they had the Mr. and Mrs. Reggae dance contest.  Okay Larry doesn't dance but after about 8 or so purple MFs he was the dancing king.  Needless to say he entered and in the eight years we have been married I've never seen him do a split.  When it was his turn he was jumping around and then he jumped up and landed into a full split OUCH!!  Since this contest was purely a popularity contest he didn't win because most of our friends left to go to the private hot tub and he didn't get the credit he deserved.  When we got back to the room we had our dreaded eviction papers.  It seemed like the week just flew by.

We met so many friends old and new on this trip.  Of course Sean and Kelly our very best friends in the whole wide world and we'll always be thankful for Hedo for bring us together and hopefully see each other there every year and we'll definitely come out to Vegas again to visit you.  Brian, we didn't forget about you too!  We love you.  To Ted and Sheryl thank you for helping us get the party started in Charlotte before our departure.  You guys are so close we'll definitely have our own Hedo party here in NC.  Andy and Lisa, you guys are great.  We'll never forget the Mexican Hat Dance song and just remember Andy, I'm keeping my eye on you!  Claude and Terrie, it was really nice meeting you.  Maybe we'll meet up in Atlanta and party.  Terrie you are awesome for diving off that cliff at Rick's.  You go girl.  Randy and Susan, the one short day we spent with you guys on the cruise was just not enough.  Thank you so much for getting the cruise together.  We had so much fun.  Lee and Joy, congratulations on your wedding.  Hope you have enjoyed the good head and the other little surprise from us ; )  Deb and Steve it is always so good to see you guys again at Hedo in Sept.  Steve take good care of that hat it has been handed down from many generations of Hedonites.  Hope to see it stapled up on Delroy's wall soon!  Cindy, it was very nice to see you again and hopefully we'll meet again.  I hope I'm not leaving anyone out.  We met so many great people as usual at Hedo this year.  Hope to see you all there again soon!!

Hugs and Kisses!
