1st Trip to Hedo 02/22-03/01 2003 Betty and Eric

Weeks of expectations, hours spending on reading trip reports, counting hours until the departure. How this resort about which I read and heard so much is going to be? Will this vacation fulfill my wifes expectations? Will it fulfill my own expectations? How will I cope with my first public nudity experience? And maybe the whole trip is not worth this uncertainty? Why, like a lot of my friends not to go to Mexico or Dominican Republic and do not experiment with the place we have never visited or I dont know anyone personally who has? Well, I am afraid it is already too late to change our plans.

Red eyes flight, then 80 minute crazy ride at the wrong side of the road, and here we are, standing at the front desk of Hedonism II. 15 minutes later we are on our way to the room 2136. Our baggage is carried by all time smiling Jamaican guy. First time here? No problem, mon. I will show you a piece of our property, yeah, mon. We are going through the main dining room area watching half naked people having their lunch, and then we are passing by the pool and tennis tables and the gym on the right. We are turning right now and walking along tropical bushes, trees and flowers. No naked people within our sight, only some distant sounds of music and people playing. At last since 3 am this morning we can take a rest. The room is nothing special, pretty old but clean and comfortable. Two things are missing, alarm clock and a CD player. We are not going to use the clock but we have some Jimmy Buffett and David Alan Coe cds so we definitely need the other item (we got one the next morning). 20 minute nap just to charge our batteries and prepare for a long afternoon.

My wife and I have never tried public nudity before. Some time before our vacation we discussed it and while I was not very concerned about this first time, my wife was sure that she would never take off her bottom and maybe on the last day of our stay she would decide to take off her top for a short time. Sometimes I tried to convince her how great her body was and that she had nothing to be ashamed of, sometimes I have her read some encouraging posts from the message board and sometimes I tried to do it my own way. Nothing really worked but lots of people told me that even staying on the prude side (beach and pool) we can have a great time, solet it be.

Dressed in our beach attire we reached the prude beach. There were very few people there so we chose the best spot, lay down, relaxed and enjoyed the Jamaican sun pouring on us. One hour later my wife, yes, my wife said: lets check the other beach. Without uttering a word I followed her. We found two unoccupied chairs close to the bar. We put our towels on them and within the next minute we were naked. That was it! It took us so many hours to discuss and think the whole matter over and that was all so easy! I went to the Delroys to get some mudslides, watched body painting for a while, returned to my wife and we both agreed that it was not a big deal at all to get undress in public. Nobody paid attention, nobody made any comments, nobody fell of the chair and everything was really cool! That was the days the fun began. In the afternoon we went to dinner, then to the piano bar and the hot tub. It became almost our daily routine. Dave at the bar is extremely entertaining guy and many folks who sing along are pretty talented. Every evening was different but overall great place to get some drinks and warm up before PDA or PDP in the hot tub. This place is also different every night. During the first few days of our stay the crowd consisted mostly of couples and swingers with just a few single guys drooling. At the end of the week, more and more college guys started arriving to Hedo and sometimes even at 1 or 2 am nothing was going on in the tub. We didnt see any sex police and no act was interrupted. The word no always works as well the word yes.

We had times of our life there. We had the week we would never forget but not because of the sexually charged atmosphere, not because of the great weather or even entertainment. What we found best about Hedo II were people. During the week stay we met so many people from all over the States and world that we just could not remember their names even the same day. Every moment is good to make new friends and when I says friends I mean FRIENDS. Couples or single guys, it doesnt matter. Nobody pays attention how you look, how reach you are or what kind of job you have. What really matters and only counts is your attitude. I didnt understand that when I read other trip reports before our arrival to Hedo. After two days I realized that its true. All or most of the frequent visitors come here to meet their friends or make new friends, because there is no place like it. Should I mention any names here? Probably not. It doesnt matter because we will meet again with some of them anyway. Oh, yes, I didnt mention that? We will go there again!

The last day during the lunch, just an hour before the trip back to Mo Bay we were sitting at the table trying to eat something but the jaws could not move. With our eyes wet we were looking at each other while the new guests were arriving looking for fun. Has it ever happened to you the last day of your vacation? Well, it has never happened to us before either.
