We start this tale about our vacation surprise in early April, when we started looking for places to go relatively inexpensive and adults only. Since our cruise in 99 had a few more kids than we anticipated, the only quiet spot was on the topless deck and our room. So that was the only stipulations we had for this trip, so the search was on to find this wonderland if it existed.

We had seen a couple of places in Cozumel that intriguing but after some research found that they were family resorts and wanting to go in July (family vacation month) decided against. But no fear we still had time, after attending a good friends party they suggested Jamaica, they had gone to Sandals on their honeymoon and had a good time. The next day I started researching and low and behold I found superclubs. But we had gotten into another pickle which one, after some discussion we decided we would let them decide where we were going for a vacation (enter super surprise) I told the wife you book it and I'll go.

A few weeks later I stumbled upon www.dennyp.com and started reading trip reports and posting question about what to expect and super surprise probabilities. Most everyone told us to upgrade to at least a plus. Well alittle miss communication and our very busy schedules made it too late to change it, so we crossed our fingers and hoped we would end up in Mo Bay breezes ( guess I forgot to knock on wood or something) my fears were correct thats what we drew.

I called the TA and asked what we could do now about getting moved or possibly requesting we be moved, mainly from all the bad info I was receiving on a daily basis it seemed in my email. I spoke with the GM of breezes and I was told that it would cost us to move even if we didnt like the place. So I called the TA again the next morning and ask for the prices for moving. I said lets do it now so we dont have to mess with it there, and were where set to go to HEDO II. So now we had wonder if we messed up by paying more and not even looking at the other property. Our question was answered we drove by from the airport, within an instant we were relieved that we had made the change.

As I said this to my wife a couple in front of the bus recognized our discussion from the comments on the board and introduced themselves Mike and Lori and took us under their wing and reassured that we had made a wise decision. At the time I wasnt sure yet.

We talked some more with them when we arrived and told us to ask for H block room which was where they were staying also, we got the room directly below them.

Day1

Being newbies they kind of let us run around and see the place and told us to come on over to the nude side pool and have drink later. We didnt make it over there until around 10 PM @ the hot tub so we could ease into the nudity scene. It wasnt so bad, nobody laughed, stared or even gave us a second thought.

Day2

We had some havoc break out @ home in our business and had to make some calls to the states which posed to be problem some in itself our ATT calling card from Sams didnt work as good as some say. A kind person that worked @ the resort had an extra cell phone that we could use it we put minutes on it by purchasing at the gas station about 5 minutes walk down the road. What a lifesaver that was thanks.

The next day was the daylight beach try out, wow the same thing happened as the night before. Well it worked and we were converted, after about 45 minutes in the sun on the beach it was time to move up to the pool, where we ran into Mike and Lori and they introduced us to a lot of their new and old friends. What a group took us Kansasans right in, amongst all of that we made some new friends all by ourselves and there was no stopping us.

We got to know Delroy and Lucien and Robert great guys really love their jobs and it shows. What an asset to Hedo these guys are.

4:30 rolled around and that it when we got introduced to jerk chicken, Im hooked mon. went up and got our plates and got into the pool and let it melt in our mouths. We left room for salad and desert at the buffet, which wasnt too bad not fine dining by any means, but good. After watching some of the show and visiting with our newfound friends we decide to go for a nap before the hot tub. Lots to be seen this night it was a voyeurs dream come true on the beach, hot tub, grotto, cool tub, pool and even in the garden in between H block and the tub.

DAY3

The wife just had to venture into the duty free store after breakfast and point out some ideas for anniversary. So I obliged by getting belly chain made for her with hedonism charm, damn it looked good. Well off for some sun on the beach and on to the pool, is when we meet a couple close to our hometown Paul and Sandra. Very nice almost felt like long lost friends when we meet someone so close to home. It rained quite a bit but we just drank our hummingbirds and vodka slush in the grotto, discussing everything that came to mind mostly "hoe in the hell to tie our togas since we missed the class. Sandra was no help since she was wearing pillowcases. Toga night was not my favorite night.

Day 4,5,6

I was starting to realize that this place was never never land, especially when my wife told some of our friends you give us 2 or 3 weeks notice and well meet you back here. I cant remember when time didnt matter, my cell phone didnt ring and my gorgeous wife never looked more beautiful and happy than I had seen her look. The troubles and worries were gone from her face, wish we never had to leave this magical place, it was just like when we first met sparks and fireworks not that it just happened @ Hedo but just more noticeable. Im glad she got to cut loose and have some fun and Id doit again and again just so we could feel the new lovers feeling you get when you visit. Just in case I forgot I Love You my darling wife, life has been ever so wonderful since I met you (I doubt I did forget but hey its on here for her to read when I gone on business)

Our new friends started leaving the day before we did and the place almost seemed empty or missing something. Thanks for making this a memorable trip guys.
