Chad & Rita - 05/00

Yesterday I was in Jamaica, today I'm in America. I write this trip
report with the Hedo Virgins in mind for that is what we were just a few
weeks ago. Hedo is an awesome place and now I know why it has such a huge
repeating crowd.
I think I'll use the overall trip report method vs. the daily method
because everyday seems to blend in together. Also I'll skip most the customs
and travel information, you've heard it plenty of times and who really gives
a krunk how my flight was.
I'm not ever sure where we first learned of Hedonism II but it seems
that it came of interest about a year ago. We had never done any type of
nudist activity at all outside our home so this was a very exciting prospect.
After we talked about what we wanted to do for our vacation in May I was
doing my best to "sell" my wife on the idea that this place could be our best
vacation destination ever. It took some work but the more we talked the more
interested she seemed to become. Another helper was ordering the "Naked
Truth about Hedo II" off Amazon.com. This gave us a nice insight on how the
place was. We basically decided over a dinner at Denny's Restaurant that we
would go ahead and book for Hedo, I used Go Classy due to the risk of being
bumped seemed to be lower with them. (more on that later)
We both had our worries that maybe we could look better then we do so we
hit the gym ever harder then normal and worked the tanning beds for a full
month before arriving. It seemed we hit a tanning maximum however with the
beds - but we had established a nice base tan. The more I checked with the
various web sites the more people I meet at the same time as we were going.
Having contacts and "friends" going the same time made things more
comfortable and it was fun trying to spot people at the resort from the pics.
As the weeks grew closer to leaving my mind was overtaken with the
excitement and anticipation of going to Jamaica.
We decided to bring along some shoes and clothes for the kids in Jamaica.
I've done lots of research on the country over the years and I know how
little things like that can go a long way down there. Just our part to help
out some.
We got packed and headed to the airport with much excitement to get away
with each other and meet some new friends. The flight and all was just fine.
We decided to use the "bus ride from hell" even though that put us at the
resort around 6pm. We both wanted to check out the real deal Jamaica first
hand, not to mention save $120. The "bus ride from hell" is not even bad in
my personal opinion. For the limo using, high class crowd I guess I could
see how they might not enjoy it but it was fine. The Bus is actual just big
vans with friendly drivers. Along the way you see many strange things like:
goats, cows, and chickens just running around, you see men trying to run
along side the van offering you some "herbs", you see ocean front land with
rusty shacks and you wonder how this land has escaped the resorts and condos
of America.
Once we got to the front desk 2 hrs after leaving Mo Bay we were told to
sit in the tropical looking lobby and fill out some simple check in
paperwork. I hurried up and beat the fellow bus riders and went to the desk
thinking I might have to get all crazy to get a room and not get bumped. In
just a few minutes the woman gave me a key and said welcome. I asked her if
Go Classy had any real effect on not getting bumped and she said it actually
really did. Not that bumping was a problem this particular day.
We got to our room and a bellhop guy helped us take our 4 bags in then
left. I was looking around our room expecting some bug infested, hole in the
wall joint but I was very pleasantly surprised! I guess I had this
preconceived notion that the place was dump cause I always heard the
repeaters say "well you go for the people not the rooms". The whole resort
over all was nicer then I expected, it's funny how you paint your own version
of how you might think it will look like. But I must say, the room was nice!
Mirrors on the ceiling (I loved that :-)), a nice shower, a great view of
some tropical gardens and trees. Our room had the new AC unit which is easy
to use (don't believe that it's hard to figure out, if you have a middle
school education you'll be just fine). There is a closet with two safes and
about 10 various drawers to store stuff in. The other amenity was an Aiwa CD
player and Radio, try to find the Irie Channel around the 102 range...my wife
got sick of me jamming to it all week! lol
Now the showers do tend to have the temperature fluctuation but to me it
was not problem....just got with the flow....the changing temp flow! Water
pressure was consistent, however.
ANYWAY, soon after we arrived at the room I was very eager to run around
and start checking stuff out! We went and looked at the prude beach, the gym
(not a bad gym either if you lift anyone I do), & the shops but I really
wanted to look at the nude pool and hot tub!! We got some drinks and went to
the area on our resort map that was marked Nude pool. Around the corner Chad
peaks.....WHOA! I see a bunch of naked people in a hot tub!! yahooo!!!
This is crazy I was thinking. We decided to have some dinner first since
we'd been traveling all day.
During dinner we meet our first couple we'd been communication with using
e-mail. This made us feel comfortable that we had someone to eat dinner with
and they would help us to meet the rest of our lil group of friends there.
After dinner we went and relaxed while the hot tub and pool were being
cleaned (from 8 to 10 nightly, thank goodness they do). But about the strike
of 10pm we headed to the tub with towels on us and Red Stripe beer in hand.
When we got there it's the couple we meet at dinner Amy and Mike. The moment
of truth....we tossed off the towels and jumped in the hot tub to join them.
I must admit I felt pretty nervous about it but all the same I was ready to
go for it. We hung out with them and I started putting down the drinks to
help ease the "just getting used to all of this" vibe. Soon the rest of the
group came over to join us in our lil corner of the hot tub. I was really
happy to meet a nice group of people that were in our age range, 20's and
30's. I was also surprised how the guests all seemed to be couples, I guess
I was expecting a ton of vinnies and sex police but neither were the case.
The rest of the week was really hanging around the pool/hot tub area with
our friends all morning and afternoon raising cane and just having a blast.
Then it seemed that we all took our power naps around 5 to 7 so we could all
meet for dinner around 8pm, watch the show and hit the hot tub when it opened
back up later on at 10pm. Oh yeah, we also played Nude Volleyball everyday
at 4pm just don't dive in that sand nude! OUCH!
I'll highlight some things then I'm done:

Public Sex - I'm not gonna beat around the bush, I wanted to see it and I
wanted it to happen without Sex Police interference. It happened...you see
all sorts of stuff at the hot tub/pool. Most of it seems to happen later but
even during the day things went on. It seems most were not so open with it
is was vulgar but you could see things were happening.

Sex Police - Check this out....we only saw them really break up anybody once
and that was it! In fact most the time I don't even really know where they
were! Not much to say about what I didn't see.

Vinnies - The first 5 days were where there I was amazed how many couple
were there vs. single guys. This for us was a positive thing. The last few
nights there were more guys hanging around. Some had the right attitude of
just being cool and getting to know people. Some were complete idiots and
obnoxious. The really one time there was any type of problem was when a few
drunk English guys keep jumping into the hot tub slashing whoever was within
a 15 feet radius of them. But over all it was a very positive thing with
vinnies - or the lack of them.

Toga and PJ night - We enjoyed the toga night better...it was fun to dress
up with our friends help in a room party then head to dinner. After that
they all do a conga line and you dance. My wife won a bottle of drink for
having the "sexiest toga" in the whole place! Thanks Chris for creating that
look and cheering loud! PJ night would have been better if it were not held
in the Disco. We didn't do the disco much cause it's loud as *hit and hot.
We only could take it in 30 min shots. But there were some kick butt outfits!

Overall - The picture we had in our minds of what Hedo would be like was
way different then what it was, it was better. The place is really amazing,
we're working on the next date already.

In conclusion I would suggest that everyone prepare by reading the book and
web sites out there to meet friends before you get there. Oh yeah, bring a
watch with alarm for your cup you should also bring. Hedo has a way of not
having ANY clocks anywhere. We'd killed to have remember to bring one.
There were many rafts there to use from guests that had left. We liked
having our own towels cause when your drunk it's hard to tell what white
towel is yours in a pile of 50 by the hot tub! lol.
I hope you enjoy this recap of our awesome vacation and feel free to
e-mail us if you have any questions.....we're an open book.
