T.Wayne & Julie, 12/99: Wet, Wild, and Wicked

Now that the hustle of the holidays are over I guess it is time to get down to the reality of working and real life. Yuck!!! OhYeah!! & getting in our trip report.

Even though some may be expecting a literary masterpiece, guess what? It ain’t going to happen. LOL!!.

Hell, I’m doing good to get this report in at all. I didn’t have to wait for Y2K. I KY2’d my own computer before the turn of the century. For those that didn’t get that sentence, what I meant was that I screwed with my computer too much and crashed it. Kind of like being at Hedo. You just screw & screw until you crash it. You know what they say, that if a little does a little good, then a whole lot does a whole lot of good!! So that is what I did until I lost everything. So if anyone sent me anything please be so kind as to resend it to me. Just think Steph, for once we don’t have to ask you if you have it. LOL !!!!

Although it was my first time, it was Wayne’s second time. He went last Dec. But as a single guy he did a lot of the water sports. During his trip last year he met & made quite a few friends that we ran into when we first got there. So for him, he knew what to expect. But for me, I was a little apprehensive. I told him I would go & try this. There would be two stipulations one, I don’t swap, two, he would have to be patient & go-slow with me. Well, as most of you know it didn't take me long. LOL.

We worked for days getting things together for our trip. Like P.J. night, Wayne’s bull head and my wings. The outfits for Toga night and all the decorations for our room, etc. Most people that we met knew that we were from Texas. And those who didn’t know weren’t from this planet. LOL.

Day 1--- We left Houston early & our flight was uneventful to Montego Bay. The bus ride was great. Our driver looked & acted like Sammy Davis, Jr. He was actually like a tour guide that pointed out some interesting sights of Jamaica.  Finally arrived at Hedo & the rooms weren’t ready. So everyone from our bus went to the beach & started drinking. By now my adrenaline was pumping as we walked to the beach bar not knowing what to expect. And starving to death because we hadn’t eaten all day, but the beach grill was closed. A couple of drinks later & still starving our rooms were ready. Oopps!!! Wrong room till tomorrow. Got settled in our room, but dinner wasn’t until 8:00 & I was getting sick from the alcohol & no food. Wayne suggested that we go to the nude grill & I said okay. But we only made it halfway before I chickened out. So I found some crackers I had packed & ate them. We ate dinner later with the people off our bus & turned in early.

Day 2---- Breakfast. I missed it. Wayne brought me something to eat. Time to go check on moving to our other room. Come back, come back, come back, & come back. Finally we went to the nude beach. We read Chris’ book & it stated something to the effects that if someone’s stuff was on a chair don’t move it.

We couldn’t find any chairs so we used the table by the trees. I stood there & took everything off just to realize that we needed to blow up our rafts. Wayne, being the gentleman that he is, took off to go get them aired up. I started feeling a little uncomfortable, so I got dressed & went with him. That was a long way to walk to the scuba shack nude. LOL!! Got back to the table & hid behind a tree and got undressed. Used my float to cover up & we went to the water. OH!!!! I did it. Later, met Denny & Diane who started introducing everyone around. And at that point I started relaxing & feeling more at ease, realizing that everyone was there for the same reason. Just to have fun. Got our new room & settled in. Wayne played volleyball & blinded the other team with his white skin according to Magumbo. LOL. That is until he rolled in the sand & got some color on him. Ate dinner, then Hot Tub time.

Day 3----- Don’t remember.

Day 4----- That morning I tried to eat breakfast but had a terrible hang over & Diane was laughing at how green I was. That afternoon went on Boomer’s Magical Mystery tour.  What a blast and what a delayed reaction on those eats !!?! That night the entertainment had a guy eating fire & it hit me. I had to get out of there. WOW!!!! Hot tub time !!!

Day 5----Breakfast, sailing, beach for drinks & merriment’s. Lunch Wet T-shirt contest & I think Kelli should have won not tits on a stick. I was sick of her by then & was ready to put her on a stick & watch her spin. Said good bye to Karen & Terry (damn I hated it when he and Wayne talked football!!!). Then PJ party that night.  Everyone had such nice costumes. Thanks Steph & Boomer & Don & Vickie for waiting for us to go in together.  The nude volleyball afterwards with Jim’s great cheer.

Day 6---- Breakfast, sailing, beach for drinks & merriment’s. Then the catamaran trip. What a blast watching the guys trying to make a balloon launcher. Don’s face when he turned his head into Rupe’s ass. The swimming caves & rope swing. We are glad that everyone enjoyed the jello shots. Whether it was in their mouth or on someone’s other body parts. LOL!! Volleyball, then dinner at Pasterfari’s.

Hot Tub time Yeah!!!

Day 7--- Breakfast, snorkeling, beach & sailing. The trip that we couldn’t catch the wind. LOL...

Toga night was great & everyone looked great. Except for Boomer & Steph, who missed the toga tying class again and never made it out of their room. Oh well!! Maybe next time. Also Rupert’s B-Day.

Day 8--- Breakfast, then parasailing. Well, that was cool except for the landing. We crashed into the boat & Wayne broke his toe. So the rest of the day we just chilled on the beach.

Dinner at Pasterfari’s for Don & Vickie’s anniversary. Also the last chance for everyone to have one last dinner together. The Beach party. Then Hot Tub time. More champagne  & my nasty Pina Cola whip creme. It may have tastes bad but everyone still enjoyed the out come. LOL!!!

Day 9--- Breakfast. Wayne was sick this morning. So, my turn to bring him something to eat. Most of the WWW people were leaving. We started feeling sad & lonely. But was glad that they were going & not us (ha ha). They all came back to the beach for a little more sun. Oh!! Don, the bar of soap that you were afraid that Vickie was going to lose, we have it for you & will mail it to you. We assumed that that bar was a special bar for ya’ll to play drop the soap. LOL... Told everyone good bye. Then went shopping with Brian & Deb. Wish that they had been there earlier that week. We enjoyed shopping with them. Dinner, then Hot Tub time.

Day 10---- Packed up & headed home. The flight was okay. But leaving Miami, we were about 20,000 feet up and the space shuttle blasted off. Man !! You talk about cool looking from the air !!! It was so beautiful and it lit up the whole sky. And this was about 7:30 at night.

A couple of days later as the DIF set in, I was out at Wayne’s house in the country on 100 acres. We got a blanket, turned on some island music, & the sound machine that makes ocean noises. Went outside put the blanket down, got us a couple of drinks, & stripped off our clothes & imagined we were at Hedo. Not quite the same. Our friends were missing & the sand. But maybe we can build a sandbox for his grandson & use it for ourselves when he isn’t around. LOL...

Expectations--- Went in with none. And came out with wanting to go back & have more fun.

Regrets--- That I couldn’t split my self in half. One half to go do all the activities & watersports, like Jim & Lisa. The other Half to stay on the beach with everyone. Just couldn’t decide which to do and was just afraid of missing something funny.

Wishes--- That it were longer.  Oops I mean that our time was longer there, NOT for it to be longer. Oh!! God no!!!  And that there was a WWW private party at the disco or somewhere just to actually meet everyone.

Oh!! Yes & please fill in the foot bathes at the nude beach. Keep the bar there open longer.

Hopes--- I would like to see everyone there again. And maybe actually see them LOL !!

Dreams--- They are of the fun & special memories that each & everyone have permanently imprinted on our hearts & minds. Or at least what little mind that is left...And of course the water, the beaches, the countryside, the sunsets & sunrises. Although I never actually saw it rise. LOL.

To Denny, Diane, Don, Vickie, Boomer, Steph, Don, Donna, Rup, Patty, Doug, Jackie, Jim, Jeanie, Jim, Lisa, Les, Carolyn, Steve, Char, Brian, Kelli, Brian, Deb, JJ, Deb, Shaun, Tina, & all the others that helped make our vacation memorable.
