DennyP - 12/99 Wet, Wild and Wicked

As I’m composing this trip report, it’s below freezing and there are a couple of inches of snow on the ground here in Omaha. It’s been less than a week since I was lying naked on the Hedonism II beach and I think that my mind and spirit are still there. As such, this report will probably turn out to be more a compilation of ramblings than a polished literary masterpiece. If that bothers you, tough! LOL

I met up with Diane in Atlanta on her way in from Phoenix. We overnighted there and left for Montego Bay the following morning on Air Jamaica. Another WWW couple, Gary and Debbie, were doing a “park and fly” from the same motel. We got in rather late and they had driven a lot that day so we didn’t get together that evening.

We met Don and Vicki from Memphis at the International Terminal on their way in from their connecting Memphis flight. I met Don and Vicki in July 1998 during what ended up being the inaugural WWW trip. They are great people and good friends. While waiting at the gate, we met Gary and Debbie. The flight to MoBay was uneventful.

I had TimAir reservations for Don, Vicki, Diane, and myself. An email from Gary and Debbie asking to be included got lost somewhere in cyberspace. As it turned out, TimAir had no problems accommodating them. In fact, they left MoBay before the rest of us did. Don made some comment about the amount of luggage that we had with us. It was more than normal, but we had brought along a lot of Christmas decorations, gifts, costumes, and toys – for us, not the kids.

Check in was pretty uneventful. Of course they didn’t have our keys right away. We came back in about 45 minutes and were given the keys to 2278. It was the first time I stayed in that last building. We ended up liking that building really well.

This WWW trip was a bit different than others because many people were spanning the “official” dates. That’s no problem, though. We quickly met many of the people who were already settled in. Our first duty was to start the first round of tattoo applications in our room. This has become one of my favorite WWW activities – for obvious reasons. I get to put them on the women. Breasts and butts were a common place to apply them. Of course I never dawdled when applying them and never made it take longer than it should. Diane enjoyed doing the guys – that included applying the tattoos, too.

Next on the agenda was getting our decorations put up. We had lights on the windows (when they weren’t falling down) and Christmas trees and snowflakes hanging on the wall. Our door had a big holiday greeting sign on it and streamers of snowflakes draped down over the opening. Don and Vicki came up and helped decorate the windows with plastic cutouts of a snowman and various animals and other Christmas type stuff. These turned out to be adult orientated due to the way the animals were positioned and the extra body part added to the snowman.

The wet t-shirt contest was held Monday afternoon as usual. There were fewer contestants than on average. However, the ones that participated did a great job – especially the WWWers. Special thanks to Kellie for selecting me to eat the cookies off of her body. That was my favorite dessert of the week.

Another highlight of the week was the PJ party. Diane brought along costume parts for me to dress up as Santa. I had a hat, wig, beard, boots, belts, and an interesting bikini shorts ensemble. It’s hard to describe, you’ll have to check the WWW picture album (when it’s published). Suffice it to say that I got a lot of comments, stares, and gropes.  I was looking for all the naughty girls. I let someone else have the nice ones. Diane was dressed up as an elf. She did a great job putting it all together. We won 1st place in the “Most Funky” category. In fact, the WWW group did a good job of taking a majority of the prizes in all the categories. Congratulations to everyone.

After the PJ awards, Marc (the Entertainment Coordinator), announced that there would be a nude water volleyball game in the pool. We played 3 games of 6 on 6. It was a lot of fun. The spectators were cheering us on. Marc provided a bottle of rum as a reward. I think that bottle made it back to Phoenix somehow.

On Wednesday, we had our private catamaran trip. We went out to Joseph’s caves and the Pickled Parrot. There were forty or so of us along with the crew. Thanks to T.Wayne and Julie for making the jello shooters. Those went over well. Also thanks to Terry and Karen for leaving behind a basket of adult goodies and a couple of WWW t-shirts, which we raffled off.

Yes, the art auction is still occurring. Yes, no one enjoyed it. I think that everyone put something about that on their comment card.

On toga night, I wore a red loincloth with my Santa hat and wig. No beard, because I couldn’t eat with it on. The loincloth had a piece of mistletoe in a strategic place. Again, thanks to Diane for taking care of my outfit. The talent show featured only one guest with the rest of the acts done by staff members. That part of the evening dragged on. So much so, that Diane and I left for a hammock on the beach before the toga conga line and judging began. I know the hammock activities were more enjoyable than the activities in the dining room. J

A special thanks to Bob for making the wooden WWW sign. It was signed by the WWWers and is now mounted in an appropriate place of honor at the nude beach bar.

There were two wedding vow renewals among the WWW group during the time that we were there, and another just before we got there. I enjoy attending these and even get a tear or two in my eyes.

There was a lot more going on that week. I’m sure that others will pick up some of the things that I overlooked in their trip reports. (Hint, hint – everyone else).

I’ve always said that Hedonism II is about people. The activities are secondary. I’ve also said that each trip to Hedonism II has been better than the last. This trip was no different. There are many aspects to a Hedonism II trip. My enjoyment revolves around people. This trip featured only 4 people I knew from prior trips and one couple I knew who live near me. This left well over 100 new friends to meet. It’s surprising how Hedo can bring together total strangers and turn them into close friends in the span of a week or less. Adding to my collection of friends is the most treasured activity at Hedo for me. I was very successful in that endeavor. I want to thank everyone for sharing their vacation with me. Those new relationships recharge my batteries and give me lots of pleasure and fond memories.

I really enjoyed meeting old friends again. It’s amazing how easy it is to pick up a friendship with people that you’ve not seen in months. I always hope it’s not the same amount of time before we get together again.

There were other friends who weren’t there in body, but were there in spirit. I know that many other WWWers would have liked to have been there with us, but couldn’t. One very special friend who has been on the last two Hedo trips with me wasn’t there. She was missed very much and was thought about often. She knows who she is.

Of course I can’t close without mentioning my roommate and cross-country girlfriend, Diane. Sharing the week with her was the most special part of the trip. I’ll even overlook rescuing her from the hot tub when she had no clue of what she was doing, or whom she was doing it to. J She is a very dear and loving person.

That puts the wraps on another successful Hedonism II excursion. I hope to see all my new friends on a future trip to H-II or perhaps somewhere else as I travel across the country on business and pleasure. I’m looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones during the Summer 2000 Wet Wild and Wicked trip. Soon come!
