Brian & Kellie - 12/99: Wet, Wild, and Wicked

-----(Brian & Kellie's trip report, 12/9 - 12/17)-----

This was our second trip to Hedo and we were very much looking forward to our return and getting to meet all the WWW people we’d been in touch with via e-mail. In anticipation of the holidays, we’d worked our asses off making arrangements for the kids, wrapping things up at work, getting all our Christmas shopping and wrapping done, etc. We even had this great plan for the trip out there – taking the red-eye on Air Jamaica leaving Los Angeles at around 10:30pm and arriving at MoBay at 7:30am the next morning – giving us a much needed opportunity for some rest. Well, that didn’t work out – lots of Jamaican locals returning with their kids ensured that no sleep would occur. Oh well. We did get to meet up with JJ & Debra so we had some fellow Hedonites there to chat with. Other than being a little late and noisy , the flight was fairly uneventful, getting us in to MoBay pretty close to on-time (Jamaican time :o). Quick check-in at the SuperClubs desk (JJ, what took so long in the bathroom?) and we’re on the bus heading to Hedo. Met Les & Carolanne on the bus and another couple headed for Grand Lido. Bus ride was uneventful (didn’t hit any livestock) and Kellie got to nap until we stopped at the mid-point for refreshments. Note for all of you who like good beer: there’s plenty of Red Stripe at the resort, try the Dragon Stout during the rest stop. Truly a great dark beer that we love, but can’t find in the US.

Check in was pretty typical – room not ready, come back at 10:00am, then 11:00am, then 12:00pm, then finally 2:00pm. Oh well, we got the room type we wanted (ocean view, nude) on the second floor like we wanted, so we were happy. Besides, while we waited for the room we got naked, hit Delroy’s for his warm welcome and the first round of many rum drinks (they had Meyer’s dark rum this time, so the Planters Punch was especially good). We met more WWW people on the beach than we anticipated, making it a very social, warm and fun reception. Lunch was great at the nude grill (goat burgers? What is that seasoning?) and after getting settled into our room, it was back out to the beach to socialize and relax some more… until Nude Volleyball! Great fun, you all have to try it. This time there were many many more participants – making it a lot more fun (except the one guy that took it waaaay to seriously). Volleyball went long, so Red Stripe and jerked chicken at the nude grill were in high demand. Yum.

Thursday night is Toga night, so we got our act together in time for dinner (brought our own simple togas, rather than messing around with those sheets again!) and hooked up with Karen & Terry for the festivities. The crowd was much less active this time, though we noted that the togas, in general, were much more revealing… :o) The actual Toga party was on the dull side and the festivities started over 30 minutes late, so we hung in there through one conga line then headed off to the hot tub. By that time (11:00pm or so) there was a good crowd at the hot tub and festivities in full swing (including activities in the cave). Fun to get back to this environment to enjoy and participate in the fun. And, while they were present, the sex police seemed much more relaxed than what we’ve been hearing. They suggested some people, “Take it to your room, mon”, but never saw them enforce it.

Friday morning, we got up late (just in time to make the tail end of breakfast) and got down to the beach for some R&R. Brian knew it was going to be a fun trip when Kellie awoke, holding her head, and said, “Oh, I feel hung over – get me something to drink!” Tequila Sunrises helped that a lot! Met more WWWs and generally made a lazy morning of it. Lunch at the nude grill again (come to think of it, we ate lunch there every day!). One fun thing to break up the day… David & Joyce renewing their vows on the nude beach. What outfits! After Nude Volleyball and jerked chicken, we took a two hour nap, then had a nice dinner at Pastafari (where Kellie got her 15 year anniversary ring!). We watched the tail end of the Steel Pan Band, then the Stunt Group and Circus shows. Beach party was slow, so we headed off for another late night at the hot tub... (hey, we know our priorities). By now we’d met nearly everyone who was there already with the WWW tour, so it was a very social evening.

Saturday found us awake in time to get breakfast again (something we had trouble with last trip) – those omelets are great! Got our spot on the beach and relented to the unceasing pull of sand gravity. There were many more prudes wandering the nude beach this time, so we thoroughly enjoyed Jackie & Pat loudly “encouraging” them to lose their shorts. Hehe. Body painting that afternoon was fun (as always), though we didn’t participate quite the same way this time as last… If you see pictures of the activities and notice all the bystanders (and most of the participants) have blue handprints on their butts or other privates – that was us. We felt if you wanted to watch, you at least had to have some paint on you! Nude Volleyball (again), then off too dinner and the main show – which was pretty slow, so we headed of to play giant chess and hit Veronica’s for some entertainment and fun. Met Denny & Diane (looking shell-shocked having just arrived), sang and yelled too much (hoarse for the rest of the week), and generally had a good time – before toddling off to the hot tub again…

Sunday – and time to get our tattoos from Denny & Diane. This time we knew most of the crowd, so that turned into a social event all in itself. Diane did a good job ‘doing’ the guys, and Denny seemed to appreciate the opportunity to press his hand against all those boobs! Was this the day we did Rock Painting (can’t remember)? If not, we’ll say it was. The Hedo staff didn’t show up with paints, so thanks to Les and Carolanne who brought their own paint (Christmas colors) and brushes so we were still able to do it! Skipped the evening entertainment after dinner, but hit Veronica’s again for a bit and got to bed at a reasonable time – the only time the entire trip!

Monday found us feeling much more rested – and adventurous. After a nice social morning at the nude beach (is there another?), we grabbed one of the two-person ocean kayaks and headed out to sea. While Kellie did a great job in the beginning, as soon as we got away from shore she dropped the paddle long enough to lose her suit – and never paddled again! No matter, Brian enjoyed ferrying her around between Boobie Cay and Lido’s beaches while the Sandals boats circled and gawked at her stretched out – sunbathing “on deck.” Oh well. The view was nice either way :o) Kellie (and a handful of other WWWs) entered the wet t-shirt contest – which wasn’t everything it was cracked up to be. The professional dancer kinda spoiled it for the other gals, but after convincing them not to bail on the contest (thanks all of you), everyone seemed to have a good time and strutted their stuff. And… Kellie enjoyed Denny and Curt eating the cookie crumbs off her body as part of the show (well, they probably enjoyed it too :o)! Skipped the evening entertainment again, but had fun at Veronica’s and the hot tub again, and learned a very important lesson from Pat & Rupe… If you go to the front desk after 2:00am (oops, missed the midnight buffet), the guards at the front desk will bring you cold sandwiches. They do it really fast if you’re all naked! (Please, leave the lobby!). Hahaha. We tested that a couple more times during the trip!

Daytime on Tuesday pretty much followed the same pattern as the previous days (up late, sex, breakfast, beach, drink, lunch at the nude grill, sex, drink, etc.), except we threw in the 10:30am catamaran trip to the reefs, Joseph’s caves and the Pickled Parrot. Lot’s of naked WWWs on the trip, so it was a lot of fun. Rasta Ralphie was his usual energetic, smiling, musical self, and we all had a great time. Enjoyed snorkeling, swimming around in the caves and climbing up to the Pickled Parrot, swinging on the rope swing (great back flip, Dave) and partying on the boat. Of course, we had to relax on the beach after that energetic cruise, but we gained our strength back in time for PJ night! (despite yet another game of Volleyball). Dinner was good, battle of the sexes was great (as usual), Debra does a wonderful fake orgasm – even after seeing Rupe “cum” on the floor (what was that drink that you spilled anyway?). As usual, PJ night was lots of fun, but the music was waaaaay to loud. After the judging (we won 1st place in the bondage category!), most of us bailed to get away from the obnoxiously loud music and somehow ended up playing nude water volleyball – in the prude pool. The feeble attempts by the guards to get us to leave were replaced by Marc (The Sizzler!) offering major Hedo Bucks to the winners. Oops, missed the midnight buffet again, so we had to swing by the front desk (naked, of course) for food again. Haha.

Okay, Wednesday was pretty much the same as Tuesday, except we took the 3:00pm WWW catamaran cruise instead of the morning cruise. Laid around all morning in the cloudy shade (first day of clouds on the trip) gaining strength for Denny’s cruise. We had a great time! Everyone was fun and playful with games, Jello shots, rum punch, swimming, cameras, trying (unsuccessfully) to make a water balloon launcher, etc. Many nudes entertained the guests at the Pickled Parrot as we swam around, jumped from the cliffs, and played on the rope swing… Got back in time to take a nap (oops, missed Volleyball for the first time), then off to Pastafari for Rupe’s birthday (shall we say how many years?) dinner along with Pat, Steve & Char (shepherd my ass! Haha). The whole restaurant seemed to be full of WWW people – apparently avoiding the “Art Auction” night. Afterwards we went to Veronica’s and tried to teach Pat and Rupe the game of Spoons, but the naked cards seemed to distract Rupe too much! More late night carousing and got to bed too late (what else?).

Final full day – Thursday… Spent most of our morning lounging around and talking with all the people we met. Spent time floating around on the rafts and got the kayak out again for another naked ocean cruise. After the nude volleyball game, we got sick of all the prudes and Vinnie’s on the nude beach (especially the militant one who kept coming to the nude side, clothed of course, and cursing the nudes for giving him grief), so about 20 of us headed over to the prude pool area and took over the prude Jacuzzi for a bit. Again, the feeble attempt by security to get us to leave was followed by Marc’s encouragement and Vince getting the bartender to bring over a cart full of shots of some liquor we weren’t familiar with – but were all to willing to slug down :o). Lots of fun and even the prudes seem to enjoy the “invasion.” 2nd toga night was much more relaxed – and conservative (oh well). Loved Debra’s outfit though (basically tied the sheet on as a big tie). Another evening at Veronica’s (for some reason we enjoyed it more this time) followed by Pat and Rupe trying to teach us pool (good luck). Wandered off for a little romp on one of the floating platforms (sex police left us alone there too), after which we tracked down Pat & Rupe again for our naked snack run to the front desk (guards were getting to know us pretty well by now).

Friday morning we woke up to our eviction notice (bummer). We packed up and got pretty much ready to go, then hung out with Pat and Rupe and the rest of the WWWs on the beach through noon. One last lunch at the nude grill, then had to leave to get ready to meet our 2:00pm bus. Bus ride was uneventful (but full!) and despite the typical delay departing MoBay, we got home reasonably close to on-time.

All-in-all, another very enjoyable, relaxing and fun vacation. We highly recommend Hedonism II to anyone open minded and looking for fun. We met so many wonderful people again – which is probably the best part of our trips to Hedo. We thank all the people we were privileged to meet (Terry & Karen, Pat & Rupe, Jim & Nissa, JJ & Debra, Sean & Tina, Curt & Pam, Jim & Janie, Jim & Lisa, Bob & Fran, Stephanie & Boomer, Bernie & Elaine, Doug & Jackie, Jeff & Loretta, Tony & Caroline, Kenny & Ginger, Joe & Lisa, Steve & Char, David & Joyce, Les & Carolanne, Neil & Connie, Mike & Sandy, Frank & Ellen, Brian & Amy, Jim & Jeanie, Scott & Sharyn, Don & Vicki, Mike & Karen, Dave & Denise, Paul & Barbara, Brian & Deb), and of course, Denny & Diane – thanks so much for coordinating all this. We’re sorry to all those who’s names we can’t remember (or names we misspelled) and all those we e-mailed with but never met up with! We both feel that the naked people are the most social and fun, and you all proved it once again this time around. We will definitely be back at Hedo again, loved the people of Wet, Wild, and Wicked, and would love to meet up with you all again!

We didn’t take copious notes this time, so we’re sorry if the details aren’t exact and we didn’t name everyone we met. We just tried to go and have a good time, and racked our brains later to remember the order of the details. Oh well.

Some general observations… Travel on weekdays was great. The plane wasn’t full, the bus was half empty, getting a room wasn’t a problem, etc. We’ll definitely go that route again. Going naked to get food at the front desk after 2:00am is a blast. The weather was great during this time of the year, but the days were shorter than in the summer – something to consider when trying to pick dates. We never made it to the gym (oh well). Evening sand fleas were much worse than in June for some reason. Loved watching Jim and Lisa ‘swing’ (we think Vladimir liked Lisa), and still feel the pain of Tina’s sunburned butt (hope that’s all better by now!). JJ, how on Earth did you eat all that lobster tail? Debra, we’ll always enjoy the image of your fake orgasm during battle of the sexes. And Pat, you definitely tied the better tie than the guy!

Thanks again to Denny & Diane and all the WWW people who made this trip so special. Irie!
